No. The fireworks are all individually wrapped. Then they go into a very thick plastic bag taped shut. The cardboard board was on top so didn't come in contact. Another thing is they don't make the fireworks, they buy from a wholesalers in China. They packing had their company logo so they order that most likely from the US I would think. Shipping that from oversea doesn't makes sense cost wise. I'm gonna ask them because this stuff is ideal, and I got a bunch. If I can turn it into valuable compost I would like to take advantage of that. Otherwise I'd just recycle it. I'm trying to save for an autopot system, so of I can save compost that's gonna get me in an autopot system sooner.Chemical residue. Was there a bit of "sand" in the box?
