Gonna with to some soil grown. Just plunked down on 20 bags of Build a Soil! Will be doin a round of autos and then some photos during the fall winter..

So, should I go:

Earthboxes

10, 15, or 20 gallon Smartpots (probably 15 or 20 to do the living soil thing)

4x4 bed

In a 5x5, so got room for whatever

What's you opinion(s)????????

Buildasoil has some videos on YouTube exploring both. From the videos, I'd be inclined to try the Earthbox first. It certainly looks like a great way to grow!

So you think I'm good? I just hate wasting a chance at getting something from nothing. At the same time I don't want to screw my compost up being greedy.

LOL! I could be high, but I love the composition of that pic. I look at it and think "I'm having fugging barbeque!"

then again, I am high.

Unintential, but it is good use of the 1/3 rule. Kinda sparse for the regular Que setup, no bong or beer/liqour bottles. But hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do in the elements!

I vote grassroots living soil pots if u go the pot route! They are dope and def help to keep the soil alive with the liner inside them!

Looks like the shredded cardboard is from a fireworks company, I would not compost the cardboard, just recycle the stuff.

Nice! Just grabbed a couple more bags BaS myself. Which recipe did you get?
I vote for the raised bed! Earthboxes kick ass too, but with that much soil I'd be filling a bed.
