I don’t think it’s a mistake. Yes, it is going to be harder to master than other mediums…..but it sounds like you’re starting from scratch anyway, so anything you do will be a new skill to learn. I say gather the materials and jump in. You’ll get it…. Plus, as a grower, you want to do your thing, not the easy thing. (Unless you’re like me, then the easy thing is your thing )
