Lever action… prob would’ve been happier with hydraulic bottle press type. I’ve been told 4 ton minimum when I go shopping for one… gonna go the extra mile and get a 6 ton!
I've got a 4 ton Dabpress and it works fine! Good price too, think it was $315
You think there’s a way he can get some leverage on that bad boy….increase the pressure a bit?To be completely honest I think your biggest issue is the press it is only 2 ton non hydraulic.. I don't think you can get the pressure you need for a good press or if you do it will take some dialing in with the adjuster nut.. I am not a fan of those cam over presses... You don't need a nugsmasher or anything fancy just something with hydraulic power most are a minimum of 4 ton and that will do a great job my 12 ton is over kill
Yup. Just let it warm up well and slow on the pressure. It'll come out lighter and you probably lose some but the coils definitely last way longer. Probably because there's less plant stuff that gums them up

Lambert's Potting mix, Epsoma Garden Tone, EWC, and cow compost.
Do you notice increased rh with that volume of soil? Or pretty much the same as pots?
