I keep hearing dry erb vaporizers taste like popcorn?
It depends heavily on which one you choose and how you use it. I go for the flavor. To be real honest, I don't smoke at all any more. I tried one a few months ago and couldn't get over the tar taste. From the very first part of the first pull, blech! It's also worth mentioning that I'm a microdoser.

My daily driver is a Dynavap Vong. I just like it. It takes a bit more practice to get a good hit, but it gives nice tasty hits that are just the right size with the Sneaky Pete half-hit adapter. You also have to be careful not to combust with it lest it taste like shame.

For outright flavor, Arizer vaporizers are, in my opinion, the best. A Solo or Air Max will do you right. All glass path means nothing can mess with the flavor. It's impossible to combust. It will hit hard if you want it to.

Been using an Arizer xq2 for a couple months and a volcano for like 20 years before that. One of the best things about them is the taste. You can even adjust the temperatures and make the same weed taste different. As long as everything is clean, flower vapes should taste like weed flavored air

This is why I can’t have nice things

When the load is done, there is a slight burnt popcorn taste at higher temps. This is the cue to reload it soon. There are still a couple of useable hits left, but if you save you vaped but to extract or make edibles it doesn't matter.

I own most of the top vapes if you need any opinions.
