Morning kittens.........another lazy day with too much work getting done, thought it was supposed to be easier when you retired. More potting up of plants and getting things lined up. Have a great day. :smokeit:

@NORBY, I did something similar by going from 24/0 down to 19/5. I just did it in small steps going down 15 minutes at a time. Didn't see any adverse effects. I did 24/0 through veg to see if it would make a difference. Believe it did as the plants seemed to be a little bit larger, but no definitive proof.

Now I split the difference and do 19/5. The most common schedules are 20/4 and 18/6.

Hi @NORBY

I think it’s strain/pheno-dependent on how much light the girls can handle, but it also comes down to the grower.

To run them under 24/0 you need to be on target in every aspect or else there is a big chance you will end up with a stressed plant showing multiple signs expressing something is wrong - foxtailing, nutrient deficiency or burned leaf’s etc.

But I do recommend 24/0 during veg and stretch, then a switch to 18/6 or 20/4 during bloom.

Try everything until you nail it
