All three of us kids have it, as well as mu kids... and my husband It's a running joke with my siblings at this point, as she's in denial lol. Which honestly explains why she never took it seriously when I asked to be tested in highschool, since the way I was seemed normal to her lmao.

I know, it just sucks when you want to be able to physically spend time with people and there's no one. I'm so sick of staring at the same 4 walls 24/7 but I'm stuck with nowhere to go and nothing to do and no one to be like "hey let's go do blah blah blah" and I'm just so tired of feeling so alone.

Have you tried...... pickleball? I've been getting my tuchus handed to me lately but it's a hoot! Friendly crowd too! Just show up with a paddle and ask to play. They're most likely all ancient, like me, and good listeners, while beating you. Imagine your grandparents beating you at a physical sport while handing out life advice.

I'm trying to make friends with people in the local native plant group but most of them are on the far end of the state from me

@Blue_dreamer The roads you will be on are 10 lane parking lots at the wrong time of day 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 3:00 PM TO 6:30PM, give yourself lots more time than you think you need to get somewhere. Use google maps to help navigate but remember it can make mistakes. California is a huge state and peeps that have never been here don't understand. Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Warf in Monterey and the Santa Cruz Board Walk are better than Fisherman's Warf as far as access is concerned. Each of these needs a day to do.

Thanks man. So I was actually out there last year in March with my dad, he always wanted to see Redwoods and he asked me to make that happen, so I did. We spent a week out in the Santa Cruz / San Jose area. Unfortunately my dad is a giant bump on a log and didn't want to do anything. It would take him until 9 to get out of the house every day and then by 3 he wanted to eat dinner and go home.

I had a beach vacation planned with my family, we were going to Mississippi to the beach, and eating shrimp until we exploded. And then the airbnb I had rented cancelled. So I had to figure something else out. I really wanted to take the family to the west coast, but I just couldn't figure it out money wise. Then I tried costco travel, and I was able to find a package with hotel, flight and car for $4200. Which was about an easy grand under anywhere else I had tried.

Anyways, so I have some experience out there, I'll be fine. I know what I'm getting myself into.
