In the end, it's concluded that the airspeed velocity of a (European) unladen swallow is about 24 miles per hour or 11 meters per second.

How much is so much wind that it prevents the flight of a bird? Can larger birds fly more easily in stronger winds? I feel like experiments should be done with various birds and a wind tunnel. KER-SPLAT.
