God I could write a book about this.

Everything is a challenge. That's why it's so fun and rewarding.
I started off as a one man show and we got popular pretty quick. Having to learn how to manage people and time and assets. I have manager experience from previous jobs and been in leadership positions, but it's just different when it's your own show, ya know?

Some unique ones I faced though because who doesn't love ramblings.

We found out the laws in AZ weren't as favorable as we wanted, so we had to move. I left on 2 weeks notice and picked WA because it had the best laws. I knew 1 person here who is in the military and couldn't help me a ton because he didn't want to put his career at risk.

I lost my whole team and basically had to start over from scratch, while still growing. I've made some connections and friends here now and have a solid team that helps me run everything. I'm super lucky to have my team and couldn't do it without them.

One huge one is banking. Banks hate money that come from hemp aka the devils lettuce.

I actually 3 days ago found a local credit union that supports the type of business I am. When I opened my business checking account and walked outside I felt 10 years younger. I can't put into words how much less stress I felt!

We print our own stickers in house. I have a huge commercial printing machine that I bought after the 4th month. Learning how to use this thing has been an adventure. I've finally gotten ok with it and can pretty consistently put out good slaps. All of the credit goes to my graphic designer though NotPaul. He does amazing work.

I still learn how to be better every day. I try to apply the 1% rule from the book atomic habits and improve myself and my business just 1% each day. I'll make a ton more mistakes and some will cost me more than others. but no matter what, I will make whatever effort it takes to right a wrong I caused.

One good example is we had a miscommunication about some freebies about 2 or 3 months ago. I ended up sending 300 extra packages of freebies to anyone who ordered from X-Y just to make sure their expectations were met. all on my own dime.

I want to build a valuable company and to do that I firmly believe in putting people before profits. An expensive mistake, but it was the right thing to do and I learned a very valuable lesson.

Decades ago when we started our online business, an elder told me "at the end of the day, all you have is your integrity" .. and that kept us going until we retired and sold the business.. Good to see you give a shit! :smoking:

@MultiVerseBeans How long you been breeding and how long have you grown for? Whats your favorite strain that you created? Whats your favorite strain someone else created?

I'm not a breeder. I hope sometime in the future to start my own genetics line but right now I'm focusing on my seed bank business.

I've been growing around 3 years I believe. When I first started I was super obsessed with it and spent hours reading and learning about it. I wish I still had time to research like that. I actually just got my light in the mail so I'm about to start growing again. I'll get my tent set up probably later today when we are done having a fucking blast.

My favorite strains is double grape my Mephisto and Galaxy Brain by night owl. That shit slaps.
