That place was still there last I was in the area! Was hella ghetto tho! Been a while since I was over there in Mansfield/Kennedale area tho!
Someone told me Kennedale closed! That's where I did a lot of testing. They always had great track prep. Almost always a packed place. City killed it, but the circle track, that's practically next door, is still open.:grrr1:

Almost forgot but my earthbox tomato plants are on point! Making some big ol maters and should start turning red any time now! :cooldance:

They prob closed it not long after I was talking about cuz it had gone into major disrepair from constant neglect and lack of maintenance! Had potholes on the strip by time they shut it down!

Had to run to Lowes to get one last edger lol. They list them as 11" but its actually like 10.2 or something which fucks with my measurements. So, took longer than it should have cause of that but oh well, its to be expected

It closed in 17.
Loved that place. I seldom went to a track to watch, but when it was ProMod series time to be there, I tried to make it. I had a couple friends that ran the series. If they were short-handed, I'd jump in and crew for them.
Fun times!

That dry ice hash is excellent material! I've made several temple balls in pretty quick fashion. It didn't take much manipulation to get it to that warm Tootsie Roll consistency. Cheap turkey cooking bags transferred the heat very well and stood up to all the rolling..
Any old hashish makers out there, are 'bars' a good form to store it?
I'm going to make a few fairly big temple balls.............probably 10 grams for LONG term storage and maturing. That last temple ball......that I didn't touch for 8 months...............was unreal in flavor and potency.
I wish I could have shaken ol' Frenchie's hand. I bet he had a very firm handshake! After I got it to the consistency I wanted by hot bottle rolling, I put my latex gloves on and hand manipulated it for a while. I did get better and darker and the smells were intoxicating. That's hard on my old hands when they haven't been used like that in a while. I can see someone that worked hash like he did, to have a very strong grip!
I'll post pics of all I make when I'm finished. Should be quite a bit.:eyebrows:
