Damascus steel these days (nobody really knows what was used in the original) you either get laser etched or folded steel. The folded kind is what everybody wants because of the belief that layering adds strength, but the folding creates air bubbles in the steel which weakens it. At least with laser etching, it’s solid underneath.
That’s a pretty knife, though and I wouldn’t boot it from my collection.
oopz, forgot to mention that the rule still holdz re the regular afn od auto/photo comp, in that any plant entered into the od comp cannot be in any other comp or g&s at the same time jus sayin & carry on plz....
