Good morfnoevight All! Wow can we talk in here now.
I apologize if I miss something Dabs you know.
@Slater You know how cheap I am! It was a lot of empirical evidence that convinced me to add carbohydrates the last two weeks of flower. It turns out that the plant is capable of direct absorption and use of some sugars. AN Bud Candy has some carbohydrates I cannot get elsewhere. The rest of the sugars are for the soil microbes. As the plant gets ripe it stops sending sugars out of the roots and instead directs them to the flowers. This stops feeding the microbes and they die off. Feeding them sugars keeps ther numbers up and they continue to make nutrients for the plant. I use the BC two weeks prior to harvest and molasses 1 week prior. My terpene profile (Aroma, flavors) did improve noticeably.
This Schedule is what I am using:
Lavender lines are completed,
Yellow line is the active mix for 12 gallons
Blue lines are proposed and may change with the look of the plants.
I grow drip to waste in rock wool. In coco add 50 PPM calcium and 50 PPM less potassium. Adapting it to your grow style is what makes you a farmer

That's realy interesting, being Advanced Nutrients I've stayed well clear of them for a few years now. Plus bud candy get a bad wrap. Let not get pops in on this conversation.
I use Remos Nature's candy but of recent I've only been using it in my compost tea. A regular user of my product was complaining about a underlying liquorice flavour. Now I know the carbohydrates we add at the and don't add flavour to the buds and just feed microbes but I do think my mate was right In a way. Since ive reduced it in my line up that flavour has subsided a little.
