"Whiffy" Informal British meaning "a strong smell".
I tend to use words in sentences, it helps get your point across!
Blurting out singular words, often seems pointless, unless you are replying to someone, either yes or no or making an exclamation of surprise (wow, gosh), or shouting out a swear word after hitting your thumb with a hammer (@*#%^)!
Whiffy is in regular use in my part of the world, if something is smelly!
If I want to show off I'll use long words like "sesquipedalian" or do you find that answer to be a floccinaucinihilipilification
It was bad enough when it's your daughter-in-law. It was sad as hell, but my boy is MUCH better off. All I was able to do was throw fuggin $$$$$$ at it.
He knows now not to marry his Mom ever again..............outta his own mouth! LOL!
