welp..caught up on rick n morty.........waiting on raffle time..then gonna grab a quick shower to knock off the sweat and go to bed......wife's Bday tomorrow...got a card and ordered her new coffee mug to replace the one she busted yesterday....spent this afternoon piceing the old one together ( it looks like shit) been telling her to not worry, I can fix it, I have tools, I have skills, I have the power..........to order off fleabay...a new 2014 starbucks fucking mug.....she will be impressed, she marvel at my skill and power...but seriously, she's had that thing since 2014 and is in a bitchy mood if she doesn't get her coffee every morning in her mug so it's more along the lines of self preservation.....
I eagerly await responses, I too am curious. I have Boveda, they seem to have worked well for me, but I am interested in whether others prefer Integra Boost to Boveda, and why that is. I know Boveda have been criticized for killing terpenes, but if it did that to my weed, I am too inexperienced to notice. My weed still smells and vapes fine for me.
I am quite familiar with the Bovedas from the cigar world. Terpene profiles may be more sensitive but, I know guys storing several thousand dollars worth of high end cigars with Boveda packs. If they didn't notice a decline in quality I don't think I would with cannabis. But, tobacco and cannabis are totally different. I absolutely trust their rh% to be accurate and consistent. Typically aging a cigar in the humidor can help it reach peak flavor so it would be interesting that a humidity pack would degrade smell and flavor over time.
I prefer Boost. I noticed that my stock took on a woody flavour when I cured with Boveda. So I did a side by side cure of AK47 with both brands. The Boost was the winner leaving the cured totally unaffected. True or not, I later read somewhere that Boveda contains Cedar which would explain the odd woody flavour I experienced using them.
That is an interesting point. I know most humidors for cigars are lined with or made of Spanish cedar due to it's resistance/tolerance of humidity and it's ability to repel tobacco pests. Mahogany is for the rich types that don't like the cedar smell or woody taste from being in cedar for a long time. I've never seen mention of Boveda packs containing anything other than their salinity mix. It would certainly be interesting if they were "tinting" their packs to integrate with the common humidor wood linings.
All that said... are we in agreement that grove bags > glass jars? hahaha I love the bags with a small boveda sachet just for security and not trusting myself yet.

Sometimes, simple is the best. Pomodoro. San Marzaonos, hand crushed and quick simmered with garlic cloves, fresh basil, fresh parm(accept NO substitute) and olive oil drizzled on al dente spaghetti
