What's the point in growing outdoors if there is such a high chance of bud rot? Is it even worth it to grow in a GH or outside?

Hasn't been "worth" it for me outside since I generally lose everything to bugs and rot around mid September, but I like to watch pot plants grow and I really like to smell em while they're flowering Indoor covers my needs so the outdoor is really just for fun and fingers crossed I get some smoke or hash out of it

I don't really have a choice but to grow outside in the GH. I can't grow inside for several reasons, the main one being smell. Plus I have no grow equipment.

Where I am at least I get much less insect activity in the greenhouse but really have to watch the humidity. I installed an exhaust fan in it last year which helps a ton combined with a tower fan blowing on them 24/7. But my game always ends with at least a white fly infestation late in flower. Need to find something I can spray during flower since the various natural oils I've tried are veg only.

That's probly what I am gonna do on my next grow is leave em outside and put them in the GH when the weather strikes. lol

Just keeps the sun off the top of the soil. Mulch works just the same
