I loved my telescope! Film photography was the only thing back then and that setup was cost prohibited.
Didn't have to go from the house back then, with very little light pollution.
When I bought my farm, I could easily see the Milly Way, so it went to the farm.
15 miles out of town and about 45 miles from downtown Ft Worth, when I sold the farm, the Milly Way was just a memory for several years because of the light pollution.
I do miss nights at sea in the middle of the ocean. The stars are unreal!
