Strangely...I Think my drinking days may be over too.

Whatever has been messing about with my sense of taste and smell Killed the Desire.

First it changed the Taste to dirty drain water...then my sense of taste come back some...but it has absolutely Killed my desire for a drink......

If I pour one now....out of habit....I spend 4 hours looking at it.....stick it back in the fridge and throw it out 4 days later.....


It is Really Odd........I Wonder one day if it will come back....with a vengence............

That Margarita we had the other day was ridiculously delicious. My drinking too much days are over I hope. Sometimes it just tastes soo good.

Same here….. I got Covid and had no desire to drink afterwards (taste and smell were gone or changed for a year or so…still doesn’t seem exactly right..) …I completely quit all together within six months after Very strange

Me Too...about the same time scale too..........I keep thinking I'll wake up one morning with a voddy Rage on.....just stick a straw in the bottle and Hold the coke................I was telling my sister the other day and she is Like Really....you too......?...it has done it to me too.....she Thoght she was the only one......

@Mossy and @Frank the Dank I have had the same thing happen to me. Nary a taste for it after my covid vaccines. I suspect I caught a touch of the virus as I had a brief loss of taste/smell. At least it was hardly more than that minor inconvenience.

So yep, tuck me into the "off the drink" team. Which is really too bad as I was just browsing smoke infusion craft cocktail devices.

Stundenglass in particular. Looks like it could be confused for a bong!

Anyone else..hold your hands up.....could we have Found a Covid benefit......?

@Mañ'O'Green ...I have considered changing me drink.....I had a strong hanering for a Pernod and Iron Bru the other day....then I Though...why start another bad habit.....?..................just stay off the drink...............

TNSB true north seed bank... caught em in a lie around some Sweet Seeds Green Poison F1 FV in 2020.

I concur, their "in house" strains suck. Selection of other breeders is decent but you can get the same or better elsewhere.

Thanks for asking Ms @Mossy! I'm still above ground, still mentoring refugee kids. My jars were full so I took a break from growing to make some improvements on the grow room (still in progress). Stash is running low now with the kids rolling 'em as thick as yr thumb:

Unexpected day off for hubby today, so he got the camellia root ball out and got the roots that were running along that plastic barrier thing out. Got the bricks and blocks for the smallest of the raised beds today, along with a lattice to go up the balcony side next to it, 7 new fence boards and stain to get that whole area finished off at once.

I love all of your design work but bricks and blocks that are not mortared just look unfinished to me

I wouldn't buy from TNSB again. The freebies suck, the selection is limited, especially of desirable breeders, and, from other's reports, service seems spotty, although the one purchase I made from them was filled promptly. Seedsman is now my go to due to great selection of good genetics, reasonable prices (as good as it gets anyway - there is still NFW that a seed should cost ~$10), and their shipping has been reliable for me. There seems to be more seedbanks looking for my money every time I have a look, but most seem to be pedalling in house stuff with no real information about the genetics involved. What bugs me even more is that I suspect that most of the strains are just pirated genetics from breeders who did the legwork.

I have a lot of respect for breeders like Mephisto who provide clear information about the crosses and strains they work with, and and especially who credit other breeders who have cooperatively provided source material for breeding projects.

Sooner or later as the seed gold rush settles down, I expect prices to come out of the stratosphere, and for a lot of these so called seedbanks to disappear. Neither can be too soon for me, although I am not likely to be buying more seeds any time soon. My seed stash is replete for now.
