New Grower Lights

Quick question guys. What height should my light be above my my plants? And do I just maintain that height throughout growth?

(300w LED in a 60x60x140 grow tent)

Need more info. How many plants? What stage are they(if more than 1) in? Veg, flower?

hi and @hayds2k10 with so many lights on the market nowadays its often difficult to know where to start.most start light about 36" above plant pots as a rough guide,wait and see if the seedlings grow leggy/squat or normal.then move the light up/down or keep the same.
been lurking for some time or first day here ? im archie gemmill your butlins blue coat hi de high site rep a few things well worth a read.

Hey thanks man! I might start a journal but still trying to get my bearings on this app as I'm new here. I've just built my grow tent, ran into a couple of issues with noise meaning I'm growing without a carbon filter and hoping for the best unfortunately. Using a viperspectra 300w which gives of virtually no heat so I'm hoping airflow might not be a huge problem, the smell I will worry about later! Using canna coco mixed with perlite and seeds are currently germinating so will try suss this app out and start a journal. Thanks for the advice!
