Ive heard of decent results using a UV bulb in the room, especially for trichs. Never done the bit my self but its worth a shot.

My personal was always 18/6 start to finish. Then i started getting bigger in size and lights and went 18\6 summer and 20/4 in the winter to keep temps right.
either way that i ran them i had great results.

Great info, thanks. What type of UV bulb, like a black light or some other type?? Would love to try this and is the uv bulb on the same light schedule or ran nonstop or when the other lights are off? Complete novice here, thanks.

I run my LED 20/4 and it has UVB. Holy shit, my nugs look like they were rolled in sugar :smoke:

Reptile Cfl high in UVB are what ya want...

Thanks scarhole, I'm going to run to the pet store today.

What about 20/6 best of both worlds....? Oh shit... :what: Am I high or what??

i use 20/4 but never tried any others with autos. also i have a repti glo 10 30-40? inch uvb tube and ballast left over from a lizard i had was thinking of using it at some point. any tips? not to hijack the thread.
reptiglo 10 was highly recommended for lizards as being a strong one.might apply here too.
