If i've never done an indoor grow, want running 1 1000w T5 make a big differnce in my electric bill? I guess i'm asking will the electric company notice the difference when i'm growing and the months i'm not? Maybe get curious about what i'm up to?
Is it a big difference in the light bill when you're growing as opposed to when you're not?

Tips or tricks to avoid this? What's the point in a ballast?

Some power hungry Pcs can run 1200 watts, your xbox it probably 600 or so. It's not a huge amount they'll really notice no. It's usually people who're running like 10 light operations in houses that get caught because that kind of usage is unusual. If you increase your usage between now and when you start your grow then it won't appear as anything out of the ordinary.

Good luck.

HA thanks bro!! So maybe even with two 1000w T5's, plus inline fan for odor scrubber I should be good, huh?

Yeah but personally I'd get 2 600w HPS though. You'll get far better buds / yields from that. The only reason I'd go x2 600's over a 1000w is less heat and better canopy coverage so you can have more plants in your space. I assume if you're talking about 2000w's you have plenty of space anyway.

Should I veg under one type light and have another set up for bloom? I'll use the indoor room for autos and maybe a few non-auto grows. I was thinking 250-400 MH for veg and have a 600HPS or two for bloom???

Could I veg and bloom all under just the 600w HPS? Better to use two different bulbs like I mentioned above?

some people say mh is better for veg and hps for flower but i never had any probs with just running the 600w hps threw the whole grow.:D

and i'd recommend using cooltubes if your in a hot climate plus you can get those lights alot closer to the plants

Solid advise. Sunmaster do a great dual spectrum HPS, I'll be getting one for my next grow for sure. You only need the CFL till the first or second set of leaves, by then the plants strong enough to go under the hps. If you get a cooltube you'll be able to have that HPS like 8 inches away from the pots and you'll get crazy growth.
