Lemon Z - Dutch Passion - Growing Contest 24/25 - EU/UK/US

I switched the girls from 13/11, to 12/12 for a week. At 7wks flower i will switch the lighting to 11/13 for ripening. I will also add that this strain has a very enticing sweet smell to it. Very strong smelling, will put your carbon filter to the test! Im getting notes of citrus, not lemon, but more of a citrus candy than any fruit. It doesnt have that sharpness, and really skunky smell, that super stanky old school weed smell, very pungent!! The smell is thick, almost creamy, a very nice compliment to the citrus! I cant wait to smoke test this flower and experience it fully. Being so easy to grow and very manageable in flower, this strain has been nothing but good news since day1. Cant wait to see how she finishes!

This picture was taken Monday day 42 and 1st day on 12/12 so far so good I haven’t had any issues besides I left them in tent too long. Wished I’d pulled them about week sooner. I believe they will be fine the 10 gallon on right is 52”from soil and 7 gallon on left is 42” from top of soil. Both are much different one thick and bushy and other stretching tall. Also the difference in pot sizes may have a lil affect but one thing for certain these things are strong and look to be ready to hold a lot of premium buds. Feed is still same IMG_2809.jpegIMG_2815.jpeg

Youre gonna have some monsters!!!

Today is day 61, day 17 of flower. I forgot that in coco they take longer to finish, so instead of 8-9 weeks of flower maybe over 10 weeks. I hope at least 1 is ready for an early harvest by mid-March. I see no phenotype variation, all 3 seem to have similar characteristics. More details at MaraCachafa grows LemonZ.

Really that’s interesting. The tall one is def less foliage and stalk size is a lil smaller then bushy one. I’m glad they both are somewhat different and get to see a couple different phenos.

Yeah I think you might be right. I sure hope so. I gave them all the space they should need and a stronger light for flower. Now they have all space they need I hope they take it all. Thanks for looking in and messaging. Looks like your plants are off and running too looks very nice. It seems like everyone is coming in with some really nice plants. Go USA

Mid Flower
Day 72-36 of flower just fattening up and getting a strong dominant lemon smell to her.

Hello Growmies, Sorry for not posting anything for the last 2 weeks. I was very sick. It was definitely the worst flu or sickness that I have ever had. For a few days it felt like I was tripping on some bad acid. Ended up going to the hospital because I had no sense of smell or taste.I got tested for the Rona .Thank goodness I didn't come up positive for COVID. So I was able t keep up with feeding the girls and they are getting really big. One of the LZ is a little bit shorter than the other. They both look similar but one is stretching a lot more than the other one. The smell is amazing and intense. ( So my buddy says) I still can't smell anything.

Day 62
