I gave up on the led's for now I know how the 400 and cfl's work and don't feel like spending the cash now..... I'll be retiring for awhile in late oct. so I'll be putting everything away ..might as well keep the money I don't have!

Well depends whats important for you ..savings or quality and peace of mind?But the GN spectrum is the best IMHO.
I see this thread has not been active for awhile but, just in case anybody comes through...
I have some friends who are negotiating a OEM deal with bsled. They have sent me 4) 140w (80x3w Epistar LED's) prototypes that are using the X2 chassis and PS. The color spectrum is unique... 5% FR, 30% blue, 60% red, 5% white, and there is discussion about observing fan performance closely for a possible upgrade. I have been asked not to publicly disclose the exact spectrum at this point, so I won't. I do know, the main reason I was given these is because there have already been slight tweaks made in the spectrum of the model that will be released. But, I can't afford to buy this many LED's, so I am grateful for the opportunity to test them.
I took some pictures of the unit, disassembled. If you are considering placing an order direct with bysen, what you are about to see, is what you can expect, as far as engineering and assembly. The quality is top shelf, as you will see.
So far, they're quiet and my gals responded noticeably within 24hrs. Hope this helps somebody.

Nice one X :smokebuds: we have a few members using the bysen LEDs and all seem to be happy with the product & service they received.

Mr.N... I'll be posting the comparison pics of the sbr70's in the SaH thread tomorrow... one under my T-5's that I normally use and one under the LED... It has only been a week but there is a difference.
