. Has anyone used this setup before. I've always used T5 for veg and hps for flowering. I was just browsing thru lights and came across this one and couldn't believe the price. I've always thought LEDs were really expensive. So..... is this a good light or just built cheap???

You have cheap and you have expensive led lights. Lots of people like Chinese lights because they are much cheaper. Get an led light and run it continuously. I never turn my lights off.

I have one just like that, plus 2 1200, 1 450, and just bought a 900. And I LOVE ViparSpectra lights! [emoji6] [emoji108]

Several people here use those lights and ive read good things about them vs price.
They're my favorite! [emoji121] [emoji2] I've never used one of the really fancy ones, but on the affordable side, I think they're the best. And my plants seem ok with the lights, too. I love that they don't feel so hot, especially when using just the veg light.

I've used a 900 w Viparspectra and have had pretty good sucess. For a medium priced panel they are great. I have to admit though, that I've recently switched it out for a Timber 200w Cree CXB3590 4 cob setup that has absolutely been blowing my mind. As horticulturists, we use what we can afford at the time always hoping for the best results regardless of make and model of our lighting. Viparspectra is a good deal and I've learned quite a bit using this company's light.
