Indoor LEC 315 + Dutch Passion Seeds

The blueberry is looking like a real winner, Doc. Could be the heaviest of the bunch. Great pics. Theres an LEC630 up on youtube today from MonsterGardens. Caught it in my email. I'd prefer two separate 315s with the vertical bulb mount, evens out the footprint much better i'm sure. I think they sell it too hard as a veg light. We'll show em. lOL

Hey camaro, just watched that video. I agree man, the vertical units are nicer, IMO. The vertical placement is part of why these lights are special - less radiant heat. You're right about them pushing it as a veg light. I've seen the same sentiment elsewhere from other forums, but usually only speculation from people who don't even have the light. Right, we'll show em!

Day 40

Alright! The Iguana Juice Bloom showed up yesterday. So, some first impressions... it is definitely their most recent formulation, the one that calls for 4ml per liter (differs from older batches with different dosages). Reviews I've read said it smelled horrible and fishy. Maybe they didn't get a fresh bottle. It has a fish smell, but nothing like rotten fish (thinking of Pure Protein hydrolyzed fish, or Bio Marine squid). It's almost kinda nice. Shook it up and fed at 3/4 strength with Nirvana. The mix foamed nicely and went right into the soil.

Day 48

I've been lowering the light by a few inches every day now that all the plants are flowering. They seem to enjoy it, and the temperatures are basically the same. The light is now 18" from the tip of the tallest plant. A fan blows across the tops to keep 'em cool.

Here's some spotlight photos of the BBK. An amazing transformation has happened over the past few days. That blackberry color is coming in strong. All the leaves are taking on a deep rusty purple hue.

Day 49

Photo shoot this morning.

First up, the smallest of the bunch, White Widow! Smells like spicy Flintstones vitamins.

Then there's the double plant, Euforia. Slow and steady is this plant's game. Still early, but the buds smell of incredibly bright citrus. Like lemon and lime peels. Sort of reminds me of citrus scented industrial cleaners, in a good way.

Next up, Blueberry, with its tight, symmetrical form. It may be a little too tight, with lots of shading and overlap between branches and budsites. However, the buds aren't quitting. Smells like sugary blue-flavored candy, and has recently taken on some spicy notes.

Finally, the Blackberry Kush. This thing has been pedal-to-the-metal from the start. Lot of the leaves are fading out, so the end is near for this speedracer. Probably another week or two before its finishing week.

So far, Iguana Juice is impressive. I have a grape tomato plant on my back deck in a <1 gallon container. It goes through a ton of overly dry periods cuz I tend to forget about it, and looks kinda sad. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to grab 2-3 ripe ones from it. I mixed up more nutrients than I needed when I first got the IJ and Nirvana, so I gave it to the tomato plant.

10 ripe tomatoes today, with plenty more on the bush. Pretty damn cool, lol. [emoji41]
