Indoor LEC 315 + Dutch Passion Seeds

Whoa, sex signs at 15 days from seed. This blueberry is a special one. First to sprout, fastest growing, beafy build, and quick to mature.... ?!

Day 17 picture update

They got another watering this morning, just some plain OLD tap water. Runoff came in at about 6.5 pH, so I'm confident the soil is stable. When I do actually feed the plants, it should be perfect, as my feeds tend toward the acidic side.

Day 18:

Lowered the light down to 22" now that the plants seem ready and the temperature is manageable. My intake air is 75F/24C and ~65% RH. The thermometers at plant level and in direct light read anywhere from 79 to 83, but usually right at 81. Anybody have experience/advice on balancing air temperature and radiant heat?

Day 23

So I've learned something about my new light the hard way: it's very strong, especially in a smaller than recommended area. I am used to using LED lighting where you can get them pretty close to the plants, assuming the temperatures are reasonable. But it seems like with the LEC, going less than 24 inches isn't good for young plants in veg. My plants became stressed. I think it warmed the soil too much as well. So for now the light will stay at around 30". Any advice?

Also learned that Advanced Nutrients Nirvana is some great stuff. I know it's listed as a bloom booster, but it really helped my plants bounce back after the intense light. Just foliar fed them, and hours later they perked right back up.

Your cat looks like he may have indulged in a sample or two. ;) you keep a good journal wish I could get into detail like that. Not my strong suit. Your girls are looking good man. I'm along for the ride if you don't mind. Good luck man hope you blow the seams out of your tent

Thanks stepside!

If I don't keep an eye on her, she'll chomp an old leaf from time to time. At least she knows the lower yellow leaves are expendable! She's probably always high af, and likes napping in the warmth of the light.

Thanks for dropping by!

They got another feed today.
Each plant recieved:

6l water
4ml Biothrive Grow
2.5ml Nirvana
1.25ml Bio Marine
1.25ml CaMg+

Relatively light feed. I used more of the grow base nutrient than I normally would, because I think all the woodchips in the Dr. Earth mix are stealing the nitrogen. (Never again, lol)

Day 25

Things are picking up! Raising the light was the best thing I've done so far in this grow, lol. They're greening up and getting back on track.
