Indoor Kyote's 2021 Adventures in Grow Land Indoor & Outdoor

Things are looking real nice! Other than the mutant they don't seem to be minding the heat. Foliar at about twice a week you say? Are you still using the humic/kelp mix?

The RM mutant has looked like that since transplanting so.... and then I FIM'd it as well just because. Did a stem rub and has a nice orange odor to it. I don't know if she will make it to September, butz i'll do what i can to keep her going.

Every three dayz i am foliar spraying everything except the PP that is starting to flower. I use coffee filters to make tea bags that are tied off with rubber bands, with the humic/fulvic acid in a one quart milk jar and the kelp in another milk jar. Then i put some of each in a quart spray bottle and foliar at sunset, hitting both bottom and top of leaves.

Oh, and did I say it'z HOT AF? We aren't set up with A/C here, butz if this is the new normal, that will change.

Outdoor 2021 Cookies FV, Purple Punch, Blackberry Gum, BBBG3 x CS, Red Mandarine mutant
Well we had a historical hot spell for us here and it did get a bit toasty. The greenhouse peaked out @ 117F butz the plantz took it well.

Been foliar spraying every 3 days except for Purple Punch that is in flower. Purple Punch and Blackberry Gum autos getting 700ppm of MC every other watering. They seem to like the higher ppm's of nutes outside.

The photos been getting rainwater. 4 gallons for the Cookies FV and 2 gallons for the BBBG3XCS in the greenhouse. Another top dress is in their near future.

Ok, here's me clown show, starting with the Seedstockers Cookies FV photo

Here is what i did to moderate the temperatures a bit in the greenhouse during the hot spell. I would water the sheet every hour or so in the afternoon until the sun got off the greenhouse. Me hippy swamp cooler :smoking:

Ok, that be that for this weeks clown festival grofolkz :pass:

Swamp cooler! Top job thinking of that sheet over the doorway. Smart, simple, effective.

Stonergenuity :smoking: Just had to water it down every hour or so for the hottest 6 hours of the day .. then i picked up that idea of the insulated bubble wrap (on a thread here on AFN) for the autos in fabric pots to help keep the root zone a bit cooler and to slow evaporation.

So now it'z the dog dayz for the most part until the fall :cooldance:

Ya man, seems to have been hot all over this past week. We’re not too bad up here where I’m at, I think my plants on the deck enjoyed some nice temps for a change!

Looking great man. Growing in a greenhouse in that kind of Heats has got to be tough. Do you have roof vents in your Greenhouse? can you roll the sides up on the bottom?:pass:

Yes, two roof vents, and two large fans going. There isn't any way to open up the sides as it is a solid structure fabricated from plastic. Not what I would buy, but it was here when we got this place.

They really didn't miss a beat and are doing well in there. Cannabis is a tough plant outdoors. So much more forgiving than growing indoors, at least for me it is.

Will see how the rest of the season goes now :smoking:

Outdoor 2021 Cookies FV, Purple Punch, Blackberry Gum, BBBG3 x CS, Red Mandarine mutant
Welps everything is growing along in the sun and good temperatures. :joy:

Cookies FV and EBBG3XCS are the only ones that have stigmas . Still waiting on the Blackberry Gum auto, which I am figuring now is a photo, the RM mutant, and the little EBBG3XCS. :eek1:

I've stopped foliar feeding now, and will begin to apply Rotblok @Phyter to the new growth, focusing on those areas where I know problems can happen :nono:. I'll be applying this once a week to keep up with those new bud sites forming. The ones under the grow tarp don't have any assisted circulation, so those are the ones I will focus on. The younger EBBG3XCS had the rootball treated at transplant .

Topped dressed the greenhouse gurlz this past week. Feeding the Blackberry Gum and Purple Punch between 650 and 750ppm of MC. The others on rainwater for now. I may supplement the others with MC and BE if it looks like they need it. Blackstrap molasses in their near future as well if me getz to the hydro shop :eek1:

:weed::weed:Seedstockers Cookies FV over 6 feet, 182cm. The Cookies FV, if she finishes up without issues, will be dormant vegged in the greenhouse over the winter. I'll chop her with a foot or so of stem left. I'll amend the soil, then put a big layer of straw on top of that and the rooted stem. The plan is next spring, she would wake up and start growing once again. Never been anywhere I could try this, so will see if it happens. @TheCrookDog has done this and me wants to give it a go

:weed::weed:Fast Buds Purple Punch auto is a winner for sure. 7 weeks and stacking buds.

:weed::weed:Seedstockers Blackberry Gum auto that is most likely a photo.

:weed::weed:EBBG3XCS #1 greenhouse is growing strong. Gotz to retape the cloth.. I putz more up to block any mild light bleed at night from the neighbors. Next time I see their porch light on, I'll go sit in there for a bit to check for any light bleed. The panels diffuse the light a bit, so hoping the white cloth blocks those stray photons.
bbbg3cs63.jpg

:weed::weed:EBBG3XCS #2 is a little gurl that got a late start in life butz is happy under the grow tarp - no stigmas yet If she finishes without issues under the grow tarp, I may try dormant veg on her as well. She would be a fun one to FIM, multitop, and bush her out with a full season of growth.
ebbg3 #2.jpg

In some pics.. peeps get their feets in the photos.. and looks like Sleepy Gnome did that here..

:weed::weed:And Sweet Seeds RM mutant is getting interesting - no stigmas yet though - the lollipop mutant :smoking: I'm starting to like this one as it tries to fill out a bit. Yet to show the sex... maybe stigmas this next week? Hoping to be gurlee cause i wanna see what buds would be like on it. :haha:

:weed::weed: Greenhouse shot.. getting a bit close to the angled top .. may have to do somez manipulating on Cookies

Ok grofolks.. dog daze of summer upon us here.. island is abnormally dry .. butz great for photons from the sun.

Guess I could put the cherry picking ladder away now... Go do that and fix the cloth too :smoking:

Hope ur growz are happy and you are too :d5:
