Mephisto Genetics KiS Bio Char Mix Meets Mephisto

Ditto @slowandeasy saw your success as well as the Master @Organic Sinse and mine as well .... Hope he crushes his first real LOS Grow ..... I’m now dipping into 3 Bears and Gold Glue and wow this fully cured bud is KILLER .... Can’t wait until I relocate to fire up again ....

How’s your away time working out my GroBro Roasty?
@MrOldBoy Just curious if you have any pics posted in any threads of your Gold Glue? I have a 3 week old one, and am curious how yours turned out. We grow so similar, I like to see how you did.
Cheers

No Threads on Goldie but she was grown in 7 gallon fabric - about 4 gallons of LOS wirh mulch and top dressings - if I recall we got just under 4oz of nice buds - pretty plant - tight structure- rock hard buds and sticky - will grow again

Been emailing Tad back and forth. Between listening to the Podcasts, reading, and your guys results...I am going to try it for myself. If it works well, I will be using 4x4 Beds at one of my locations. The plan will be 4 beds 4x4x1 each, with 10 inches of soil. Leaving a couple inches for dressing. It will cost a little more than I prefer to start...but should pay off in the long run. If things go well, reusing the soil will cut the costs quickly. Now this is given that my 1st experiment is worth Investing on a much larger scale.

Congrats on listening to the podcasts ..... Great info ....

Personally, and this is just me, think you’ll find the SIP Containers are the best choice but then that’s just me and this grower:

Well that I why I am getting 4 SIP containers First! If they work out great, then I will just buy a bunch of them. Here is the thing. I have multiple operations. The one that I would consider doing 4x4 Beds is not for personal and I will not be able to attend to them personally daily. I have help there, but he goes out of town for work a lot. If SIP CONTAINERS need daily fill ups, that is not ideal for that location. For my personal space, it will work fine. Beds with Blumats might be better for that space? Not making any decisions on that immediately anyhow. I am buying 4 Earthbox Juniors tomorrow and 3 bags of Kis Organic Soil, 1 with Biochar. The shipping is more than the soil! But it's an investment. They hold 1 cubic foot, so that will fill all 4. Seedlings are on day 2. So in 10-12 more days I will transplant. I will also order Nutrient pack and EWC from Kis. Anything else @MrOldBoy to get started?

The cost so far with shipping is $340
3 bags soil
7 pounds EWC
1 Nutrient pack
4 Earthbox Juniors

Honestly, that isn't that bad. @Roasty McToasty , @MrOldBoy . Whatcha think I need else to get started? I know maybe some straw, worms, barley? If so, how much do you think I should order? I am gonna order tonight, if I can get a good list. Thanks fellas! Slow

Other issues are bugs .... With beds come possible bugs .....

The SIP Containers actually have a self watering system .....

The fact that the water / moisture level of the soil is always perfect makes it tough to beat.

Nutrient Pack not necessary ...... see video

I set mine up similar to this .....

Note the vegetable container used in this video is no longer recommended- rather the ones I showed you are the correct ones to use ....

Yes on the straw but you can get that from feed supply store and double as Halloween Decorations for awhile ..... mulch, although ii is not necessary in SIP Container ... I even saw straw at grocery store in a nice small bag for Halloween, like $3
