i know a guy here that does aquaponics on a commercial scale. very very knowledgeable on how to do things like that...its not as simple as watering with fishtank water but he can shed some light on what your thinking.. www.aquagrowers.com the guy you want to email is kenneth.
So you think that might work with Kindsoil? If yes I'd be super psyched! Thanks for the hookup! I will get in touch with him asap. [emoji106]

Remember, there are some great grows going on here and the bong is a perk, not the prize! The prize is your own smoke at the end! I am liking the ease of Kindsoil. I just dropped my beans late last week and have watered em twice so far. I use gh liquid ph down, normally. I bought a can of the crystals and they take a little getting used to, but I wont let that stop me! Looking great in here.
@pop22 post it up brother and we will respond! I know space is precious to you all, but you knew that going into this. So, if you need to throw it out there, throw it out there and dont be shy!

Thank you! As my tag line says, I question everything, but I do so to get meaningful answers, not out of any preconcieved notion about your products or methods. I think you have a fine product. I know you've had to herd us in the direction this test should go, as you've discovered most of us are diehard tinkerers..lol!

As to my RO water, its a necessity. Even filtered, my tap water kills cannabis......... ONLY.... hows that for weird. And I mean kills it, within 2 weeks, they look like I poured sulfuric acid on them, burnt, yellowed shriveling leaves. no one has figured out why. Even had the water tested and nothing was found out of acceptable limits! I even tried triple filtering and adding that at 50% to my RO water..... BOOM! Destroyed a DWC test grow! So my only other option is go to town and haul water back, and I just can't physically. So if you or anyone has insight as to why my water kills cannabis, but my veggies love it, I'd appreciate it!
i totally respect that these conversations never happen with beginner growers and the questions asked are things that IMOP need to be discussed. And honestly there isn't a single board out there that has better members and questions than this site. I also see some horrible water quality with growers. i definitely get some only have those options and unfortunately that sucks because of the time, filters, waste.. all of it a real pain and cost to growers/environment but like you said its that or hauling and buying water which really can become costly when your actually adding in time and gas onto of water cost. those are definitely odd special cases that i would even suggest sticking with RO water but only in cases like that because if its not TRULY needed theres zero point to it. I hope most don't even require that, A lot of growers have clean useable water or at worst clean enough to basic filter for use. where the heck are you located that the waters that bad?

Northeastern USA. I'm in the country. It is a community well. It is chlorinated on state mandate. Not chloramine though, i asked. Its not a chlorine issue. ppms range from 120 to 140. Only Cannabis damaged by it, hows that for strange!!

:jointman: Hello fellow gellies! :smokeout: ....KS buddy, hope you had a great little holiday last week! I'm hoping AFN is part of the reason for a nice break-- lottsa biz! Thank you for delving into the details and sharing the plain and simple down-low with what you and KindSoil have experienced...

>>> :woohoo: soil is ordered and on the way!! And none too soon, as my babies are barkin' for new shoes right noooow,...  Poor things are wedged into 32oz cups!
s1.jpg s2.jpg s3.jpg s4.jpg s5.jpg .... there's still some final decisions to make on the line-up,.. pot sizes, what to do with doubles,... I think at this late date, 10gal pots are out, going 7's, maybe 5's on the FairBreath's..maybe bigger pot dual plant-? :eyebrows: with F2's, it might be a bit of a gamble, but it may not matter in this case,...they will take what they need as individuals, right?

EoF- :pighug: I will buy that book indeed my friend, it's on the Amazon list now- :d5: :thanks: ...you my main organic consigliere here!
...deeeewd, that SNOG is just superb!! :clapper::headbang: :clapper: A+ across the board,... buds are getting sooo fat and juicy, baby! And the resin-? fugeddaboutit!! That last top shot says it all,... it looks like you flocked her for Christmas!....... MA, paleness aside, is doing pretty well for all she's hurting for,...buds look great! How's her aroma? I want to ask you what you think her deficiencies are, along with Bromeo's, in a minute here,...

>> :smoking: Anthro'- they're looking better-- CM-XL is a beaut'!.... seems once they get over a certain hump they do okay, but the others are getting abused by the heat- What's the T and RH in there? .... yeah, those RT pots are damn nice, very well thought out and fabricated! Where did you find the best price on them?

>>> Bromeo! :wiz: :pimp: That FEx -- :spels: ---:hump:-- one of the best I've seen here, period! :clapper: She is pouring the juice into those buds big time-- they have bulked up tons, and have plenty to go,...:amazon:... I can't wait to see her ina couple weeks! :d5: Ya know, that DC isn't that bad, and again, she's building buds very well indeed!

>> Pops, you been whispering naughty things to those girls or what? :coffee: :hump: :coffee:Coz they're going nuts! No lie about that Sky', she's doing a sativa act on you, with that spring loaded stretch and bud develpoment,... I wonder if there's a particularly Sativa leaning pheno? ... wooow, frost on the GC is spectacular-- love Mephisto!! ..looks like she stopped her stretch quickly and poured all the juice into bud making,...-3B's is getting killer pom-pom buds! :spels: nice and chunky too,...:d5: ...... :laughcry:-- the Bong, you got you teeth locked on that piece, dontcha!

-- it's gonna be a fight my friend, we got contedah's here!

>>> Pop22, :cuss: what a frustrating predicament brudda,...talk about sucky timing, right?! ... no need to go PM private on this, IMO,... I think we can all understand your valid reasoning, and I say ditch and reboot! We need the solid test run, and you're here for good reason :greenthumb:...You gave them every honest chance, but crappy luck came to town on this- Don't hesitate to talk with Sweet Tommy about the muties too!,... As for the soil let's see what KS thinks, and the others about how to best use what you have left? Any extra to blend in maybe, after salvaging what's in the pots? .... on a side note, if you like, post up some more pics at the Anomaly thread ( https://www.autoflower.org/threads/anomolies-we-have-seen-on-afn.50661/page-2#post-1022712 )... might as well get some good from them!

:haha::haha::haha:

:dizzy:.....okay, I'm going blurry-eyed! so, more later... I'd like to have a go at analyzing the defc.'s the plants are experiencing, along with your opinions, and thoughts about dialing in KS for auto's, given what we see so far,... thank you mates! :smokeout:

Heyyy Waira! Oh gosh, temps are 95~110F daily lol, RH is swinging wide from 40-70% day to night. Due to where I have my tent kinda in a barn, I'm just at the mercy of nature in terms of temps and RH. Yeah once they get over the seedling hump they can handle the conditions suprisingly well. I do pot them down with extra kelp + seaweed mix + silica in the summertime, so they do have the tools to handle the heat once they can pull it.

Hey everybody, I got some splaining to do. I been noticing leaves burning up on my G13's and it was really baffling me. I was walking through the kitchen bitching about it and the wife asked me what was wrong. I told her and she said oh! Turns out she's been trying to help me out by watering for me... which is very nice of her. Only problem with it is she had no idea they were test plants and she was feeding them the same as all my outdoor plants. So that might explain all the oddities with my G13's. I'll put up some pics tonight but they won't be an unmolested test of Kindsoil. Sorry about that. Here's a couple of the latest pics

@Kindsoil I'm really sorry about the lack of diligence on my part. It wasn't intentional and I do appreciate you letting me test your product. I hope to use it again with a little more success

well, what did she give them? sorry about yer troubles man. at least ya got a touch of help though :D looks nice anyway man.

@Waira well for me deficiencies are soo not my field really.I can do simple stuff of course ,but I always look to the soil first then the relation of the exudates and the fungi and the like along with the relation between the rhizosphere and the microbes. but looking at the plant its obviously a lack of leached foods in a lower life shallow bed of foods and life. and the micro AND macro foods and minerals have leached from the soil directly relating to a lesser grow is all. I had someone ask me what, why and this and that about it,and I simply explained I was proving a point in all honesty brother. proving it cant be done within a non proprietary added coco/soil (sterlie essentially soilless anyways..lil foods available) and a shallow layer with a small pot and a large strain. so thats my take on it. but of course N P and K across the board and varying minerals, and since the life is either tapped if its even present at all in that paticular pot, since life will not let life nor foods and nutrients be leached from the soil. so thats why Ive said and REMAIN FIRM on this stance, the soil needs to be used and thickened up,meaning you would add roughyl equal amounts of soil to the KS and make for a thick or larger layer, letting the life in the soil(s) hold and retain the life. if given a week to blend fully it would even be better. but thats my take as it stands right now is all. hope that helps bro.

example I used right about equal part of my soil full of life and simple foods mixed WITH the kind soil and a quality plug of a living seedling mix and BOOM the SNOG is awesomely awesome :D thx for the kind words too bro.

@stepside, Thank You for being honest and I appreciate the fact that you came forward!:d5: Not a damn thing wrong with having a ton of integrity!! You are tops in my book! But being there was nutes used, it does disqualify you from the Kindsoil BOM. I still think the world of you and your plants do look like beasters! Water under the bridge. What nutes and how much? Are you going to carry on and use plain water for the rest of her their life?
