So I started using distilled and staying on top of things and there's been some slight improvement but I'm still getting deficiency and some problems, cal mag on one plant and who knows what on the other....but I want to point out a third party in my testing and that is an auto nycd that has had the same water at the same times and received identical treatments and environment etc....only difference is no kind soil in the bottom of the pot and the pot is plastic not fabric....basically I'm having better results all the way around with using just roots 707 than using roots 707 with kind at the bottom....so I feel like I wasted my money buying some dirt to put in the bottom of my pot that really doesn't do anything further than the potting soil besides throw things out of whack. If I have to buy roots 707 to put on top of kind soil but the 707 does the same thing I guess I don't see why I'm buying the kind soil? Here's pics of the kind girls....last two pics will be off the girl in just straight 707....they are very small un happy plants all with Def. Problems. I've followed every thing to a T . My environment is great, my air flow is great. In keeping up on watering, not over or under. I've done everything I can as a Get to get this to perform. Honestly it doesn't even make sense still. How blank distilled water works, but RO doesn't, RO with general organics Calmag+ isn't advised to use and only allowed to use one type of PH adjuster? And for such a "complex" soil that the owner tells you you're wrong and his product is flawless when you ask for help, I'd expect a little better answer of why I have to use earth juice crystals than...."that's just what we've seen works because it's different acid" well I tried straight tap water that was sat out over 24hrs, natural PH was 6.7 and ppm are 300. Everything in range and it didn't work at all. Now I'm using distilled and have Def. Problems. I'm trying very very hard to not be negative but since this is a test thread I'll b honest. I would never use this product again, even if I got 25lbs for free....it gets a thumbs down from me and to add I want very happy with the customer service. Phil told me what he thought was wrong, while telling me if I followed directions it would work flawless and being defensive about when I'm just asking for help. Well I explained everything to him and then the problem changed to my environment after I showed I've followed directions. After explaining my environment and everything to a T and sending pictures I get no response for two days and then my response consisted of telling me the same things that are already posted on the site and not helping me at all. I didn't even respond back because I don't have time to talk in circles with someone who is so stubborn about their product when it clearly needs some work. I've seen other very good growers on here having problems also. It's like a few people got lucky and have the right water....but there's something in the directions missing that they need to dial in more because obviously following their exact directions doesn't work for everyone. I tried....

Here's the girl in straight 707...it's been in the same environment and feed at the same times with the same water and same amounts as the kind soil plants....she's perfect... only difference is strains and the kind soil....and i don't see this being a strain problem, the cheese xxl in kind soil compared to my AN fed ones is just sad....

I can take pics of everything in my garden besides 4 grape crinkle, I over fed too early, that are all almost perfect. 21 plants auto and photo, all different ages and close to flawless. The 707 add water only, I have some girls on advanced nutrients, some on nectar for the gods, even rocking two different soils...only problems I have are with the kind soil plants. So it's upsetting for the owner to try to tell me my stuff messed up and it's my environment and etc....when everything in my garden is thriving and I'm working with tons of different products no problem. I work at my local grow shop and if you check my grows on here I have a very good idea of what I'm doing and get great results....so I don't think I'm the problem either....

Sorry it didn't work for you.. I wouldn't go so far as to say some got lucky but to each their own. I have grown great plants each time using distilled water only .

100% agree and you are solely the reason I tried it! Followed the whole grow and was astounded! I apologize if I came of offensive in any way as that was not my intentions by any means, just pretty frustrated when I wrote everything and wanted to put it all out on the table with my personal opinion, but I shouldn't have worded that that way as everyone has been great about documenting their stuff and I shouldn't speak for others like that when there's enough grows, opinions and information for one to decide if they want to use this product or not. Once again sorry for being kind of defensive and pushy with my opinion @Ripper . I'll continue to watch your grows and maybe come back to this one day or maybe try mephisto add water only, but for now I need to stick with what works for me and unfortunately that's out of a bottle...lol thanks again for all the support and for trying to help. I will continue to stay on top of things and use only distilled water. I have no stretch left, I missed that and am in fill out mode so hopefully I can find some redemption and get some big old donkey dicks out of these yet! I'll post up pics around harvest time for final results, but I'll be here watching how everyone else gets on!

Hey bud just for my knowledge what is your PPM in the tap you used early on?

So sorry things are turning out in a disappointing way. I wish I could have been more helpful but this is only my 3rd grow and I'm far from the experience grower. I commend you for sticking with it. Hopefully there will at least be some good smoke to be had in the end. Looking forward to seeing how things turn out either way.

Hey bud just for my knowledge what is your PPM in the tap you used early on?
300ppm at 6.7 PH, city water, soft water. I'll check again today just to make sure as I just cleaned my blue lab PH pen last night with fresh calibration, it was sitting two points high on the 4 and the 7. To read ppm I use a commercial self calibrating blue lab truncheon. Always clean.when I tested my PH and got 6.7 it's was the first thing I tested when I bought the pen and calibrated it in.

I was reading some of the things that kind soil posted and one of the things was hard water (high PPM) so I am wondering if Pete has high PPM.. If he does I would think he has a lockout due to salt build up.. Flush hard and then watch them take off.. But again just a thought..

Flushing with distilled would be expensive so my only other option would be to use an organic flushing agent, herculean harvest, to lock up the salts and any possible acid and neutralize it and level out everything to 6.4 almost no ppm value to it what so ever and I get the added value of 10 phosphorous which the cheese xxl seems to be experiencing P Def. So this is a possibility. But I thought 300ppm and below was pretty average and safe, maybe it's something in the water even after letting it sit out?
