I'm in coco, the DE doesn't work nearly as well in that stuff as it does in soil, I think it clumps up and doesn't disperse the same as it does in soil... IDK, I like the flytrap idea a ton though, because the fliers are right at mouth level!

Hahahah go for it I like how it makes my room feel like a jungle lol, and I like examining and playing with it sometimes lol. I don't put de on my soil I spray it In the room as to make a cloud of de dust close the exhaust and just let the cloud spin in there for awhile kinda like how some people make clouds of pollen when breeding, although I wouldn't use de if your plant is in flowering.

I'd say it's a good idea bc those carnivorous plants emit pheromones that attract insects.

Sorry for lack of updates. Been without power for 2 days and now power company saying the 10th now... I don't have a proper plug in my breaker box in the house to feed the whole house with my generator. I have been reverse feeding thru a plug in the house and its running all my 110v stuff so the plants have lights now... But they didn't have lights for a day and a half. No water or heat because we have a well and propane (220v) so have to get a 220v cable to reverse feed the whole house. This is insane. And I've been a mad mofo.

However despite the cold and no lights/heat... I did get one lemon head up today after 10 hrs of lighting yesterday so I'm hopeful I didn't lose them all. Hangin in there my friends. Bare with me!

Got my Day 10 update.
Things are looking good. Gave her first real watering at day 7 with a light compost tea. Dr.Earths Organic Root Zone. Plus 1tsp Organic Norwegian Liquid Kelp Concentrate, and 1tsp of Wholesome Sweeteners Molasses organic.




EDIT: I got another LH seed to pop..Going to plant it today.

We now have a second lemon head up!! Kaos I have to admit I was surprised they popped after 2 days of darkness, cold ass temps like down in the 40s.. That soil was wet and cold. Two days of lights and let them dry out and they are coming out green!

Looking good and Uniform my goal. i just cant wait for you guys to get a wiff of that lemon. its truly amazing may have to change my name to Kandy Man all my seeds come out smelling like candy idk y maybe my vibe is just soo amazing the plants can feel what i want.

even in this case trying to create a nice haze and turns to straight candy. Im blessed by these plants everyday i feel closer and closer to them.
