NC is where I learned to bbq. We lived there for several years while I was in the military, and my neighbor came from a family that has been known for their bbq and moonshine for generations lol. He liked to drink and show people how to make bbq. And I liked to drink. So I learned.:rofl:

That’s about what my life was like when I was in GA, But you gotta add in the Shrooms (think that variety was Liberty Caps) we picked and ate non stop. I swear my teeth still have a slight purple tinge from those days.

Made it BOTH for me. That was one of the best times of my life though, Albeit WEIRD AS HELL. Lots of hallucinogenics were picked or made and consumed.

The first time I “harvested” was right after my friends and I each drank a Powerade bottle of mushroom “tea”...
Weren’t even my plants.
We were out in one of the “hangouts”, And kept hearing helicopters. We went out to see where they were, And basically followed the sound through the swamp until we could see them.
There was a chopper with a guy hanging out the door pointing to a spot on the ground about 150 yards in front of us.
As soon as he left we sprinted to where he was pointing... And each of us ripped off as many branches as we could and took off running. No shit, as soon as we got back to the cars a freaking swarm of LEOS went down the side road next to us. Thank gods for overgrown saw palmettos, And the dummy that wanted to take his dark green Honda Accord, Instead of my bright red, lifted Suburban...

We went back a few days later, grabbed the few plants they left, and got 12 free trail cams in the process.

I’m weird like that, man. Some things that freak people out or whatever tend to make me curious or make me want to try it.

Heading down the Fayettevile, to visit family. You wouldn’t believe how fancy Hay St. Is these days. There is a place called Redneck BBQ lab.
Amazing burnt ends. Maybe I’ll seek out a little shine when there.

The mixture depends on the concentration of the H2O2 solution. Most stuff in the shops is between 3 and 8 percent. You can get higher concentrations, but don't go crazy. Unless the final mixture is over 10-15% H2O2, it'll not only kill the spores, but any other critters as well. Anything higher risks greater damage to the plant. The reaction that destroys the bad guys releases water and oxygen, so it's pretty safe to work with as long as you keep if off your skin. Won't hurt the plant much either, but the potential is there for slight damage to the outer cell walls. Not enough to be terribly concerned, really.
