I probably should have added that the stuff I use is 5%
The mixture depends on the concentration of the H2O2 solution. Most stuff in the shops is between 3 and 8 percent. You can get higher concentrations, but don't go crazy. Unless the final mixture is over 10-15% H2O2, it'll not only kill the spores, but any other critters as well. Anything higher risks greater damage to the plant. The reaction that destroys the bad guys releases water and oxygen, so it's pretty safe to work with as long as you keep if off your skin. Won't hurt the plant much either, but the potential is there for slight damage to the outer cell walls. Not enough to be terribly concerned, really.

Should add, you want it at least 2% solution.
Hi Mike:toke: are you saying the solution you would apply is @2%?

To be fair, I would probably use 6-8% final concentration. Having never had to do it, though, I speak only from theory based on things I know outside the world of canna. I am speculating as to the amount of damage it might do to the outer cell walls. The H2O2 will at least try to oxidize something on the plant, and I am pretty sure that at higher concentrations it would probably succeed.

Given that, I'd at least consider 2-5% to be rather safe.

The reason I responded was more from the mad-scientist chemist in me. I get H2O2 at very high concentrations, because I use it almost exclusively as a powerful oxidizer. The idea of using what I have straight out of the bottle would most certainly heavily damage any organic matter, and specifically the outer cell walls that are directly exposed.

The overall results of that damage? Unknown. Even at low concentrations, it will still do *some* damage, though a very small amount when compared to much higher concentrations.

Something else to consider, regardless of the concentration, make sure to spray the plant with plain water to rinse off the H2O2 after a few minutes. Also apply multiple treatments over time. My thinking is that it will kill spores rather quickly, and by rinsing/reapplying, you are not only reducing the exposure of the plant to the oxidizer, but also washing away spores that managed to survive.

My hope is that I never find myself in a situation where I have to do this, but that will probably contribute to how I approach it if I ever do.

Thanks everyone for the advice I did a mixture of.things I had 3% h2O2 I cut out all the bad and any branches that had wounds and found a couple that just started to spread and luckily didn't get to the buds had a few calyxes that looked brownish or had a dried tip i pulled em all with tweezers to be sure lol then took the h2O2 and applied it to the rest of the buds and i also stripped all the fan leaves pretty well since they all looked rough from bugs and they was super long stems like some 6 inches long with a small fan leaf so stripped it and it pretty well lollipopped itself there's nothing growing from the soil up to the first 4 inches of all branches then it starts getting buds n leaves. But I think it's pretty well close to harvest time it's a royal dwarf they take round 8-9 weeks breeder time but by other grows round 10-11 weeks all together and she's at day 87 so 12 weeks and 3 days here's some pics of the trichs if y'all agree and think it's good enough trich wise I might just rip it up tonight and be done lol no worries that way

Looks like your getting close mate ....my eyes are too shit to be able to see your trichs on my phone to well but I think I see a couple of amber. With my outdoor ladies I usually run on the theory that early bud is better than no bud if I'm looking at problems :headbang:.... I harvested a plant today that was only about 80% cloudy but I'm having bug problems
