Indoor JP1 Spring/Summer 23 indoor/outdoor

You have a few days . You may find another boy that you like better. Rub the stem, see if he is stinky. Do you like the structure? You are selecting traits for future progeny.
It's currently the biggest and healthiest of the 28 outside. Totally symmetrical so far and smells rotten fruit -ish. But the only plant that has a smell out there so far. Think there's 4 other males in that same pot with the goldwidows but a couple of days behind. The others are a little slower

Have fun selecting!! Sometimes the fast boys are spindly. Burly, fast, symmetrical and smelly sounds like a winner.

So when I'm at this stage I should cut in a couple of days then? I wouldn't mind keeping 1 or 2 more in other corners of the basement for pollen if any of the others give me something I like. If I can successfully get some usable pollen I'd like to run some photos next round to try to cross some branches with

1 month from sprout. Another couple of days of tucking and I'll pull the net off for good and pull everybody out and clean them up

Sounds about right. Check the pollen sacs daily if possible. When they are getting ready to spill, some plumping occurs. I mentioned before, the few sacs down low tend to open first. If you miss one and it pops, don’t worry. The girls aren’t receptive yet, and only preflowers, at most, will be affected. Just spray the girls down thouroughly with water, deactivating pollen.
Yes, isolating a few males is possible, just know pollen can float quite a distance…sneaky stuff.

Ok. So my plan is gonna be chop and move this one inside in a couple of days and then just deal with the rest as they come :smokeout: But this male is the pick of the litter out of all these plants so far

Plan is to grow a bunch of these my next run and pollinate branches with the auto pollen:shrug:
So I think I'm really selecting for structure, trichomes, pest resistance, or the best combination of those that I can find from the male and try to select the flavor from the skunks. This is my 1st attempt at breeding anything or even dealing with a male; but was talking about this nerdy shit to the wife and she didn't object :cool1:

And I've got my 1st male plant ever I think :cooldance: Bobby's Widow @BCBudlady @Mossy About how long until I should be chopping and moving to a cup of water?

When the balls first form they are Tight to the stem.....as they mature the develo thiier own stalk and start to Hang....the flower bud starts to fatten....Then they are going to Pop......... :headbang:

{Although there is an anomoly on what I Think of more Afghan crosses where the have 1 ball site Missing.. ]

Count Fan Leaf fingers on both Parents if the are miss matched.....it can help settle dominance.......

Photograph Everything.......:photog:....so you can compare Changes as you go through the generations.......they can change a Lot.....

Then...Try Not to get Tied up with the Tech......Just Do it.....lay back and Watch the Results.......Like Most of us do with our Kids...........

Then you can start to get technical...if you want....But..the whole thing is meant to be Enjoyable........... :pighug:
