Skywalker Kush birth! Congratulations, we have given birth to a healthy Skywalker Kush girl lol. It's only a day out of the seed shell and is already racing for the sky... No pun intended haha. She's already prepared a true leaf set too! This bitch is going to be awesome, I can tell already


She's not moving slowly either, already a couple inches of stretch, and that's fine, she's going into a huge 5 gal fabric pot and will have almost the whole tent to herself. I'm going to be keeping it in this modified cup for a week or so to build a root ball. Then into the 5gal.


It's still in my led seedling/cloning chamber for a few days to build up some hardiness before dropping her into the main tent. Does it need a name? Leah would be too easy, so I'm thinking Skyler. She's gonna be a badass photoperiod for some serious education and eye candy!

Edit: if you're wondering, the four sticks are for the humidity wrap, which is very high tech saran wrap lmao.

FINALLY, some male bananas! After much time, and many (5-7?) doses of strong 1:2 ratio STS spray, we have reversal of the CBD Crew Med Gom 1.0 auto. It's burned pretty good, but that's okay, she's extremely leafy and can afford some leaf burn.

In comparison, plants like Sweet Seeds which are not very leafy would not survive this level of burn and be worth anything. But this one is much more "wild" and closer to natural canna, without the refinements of long term breeding leaves out.

Even burned, it's a darn good looking and exceedingly dense plant. It would have made amazing medicine if not donated to reversal let's hope it takes fully and can pass on it's good traits to the test generation.

Ok so what's next? We're going to see how the reversing continues to take, and will let it mature all the way until the pods start opening to release pollen. Should be a few weeks. I'll rig up some papers or plastic to catch the pollen, I might have to rig up a plastic barrier just to hopefully contain stray pollen.

Luckily, I timed everything out correctly and there won't be anything at risk of accidental pollination except a Dinafem Critical Jack Herrer. I wouldn't even mind if it got pollen, but the seeds wouldn't have time to mature and be viable, as I'd be harvesting that one right about then.

If all goes well, I'll have some hopefully viable pollen to put on some branches of the baby Skywalker Kush when it's ready. This would just be the initial test generation if it works. I would grow some of those out and we would evaluate whether this is worth continuing on a bigger scale.

The Skywalker Kush girl had a little too much early stretch and her head got too heavy for the sprout stalk lol. I saw this coming though, and is why I rebuilt the seedling chamber with more light. So it shouldn't be happening in the future.

For now, I propped up her head with a skewer and a soft pipe cleaner. I've had to do this a couple times before and they outgrow it in a week or two and have enough stalk to stand alone.

Overall she's looking great, just stretched. This is fine though, as I'll be training and scrogging it for a few months veg time anyway.

The rebuilt seedling chamber with dramatically more light seems to be having a tremendous improvement over previous seedlings. It's under 2x 26w Cool White CFL's now instead of my previous crappy diy led array.

YIKES!! My Skywalker baby girl is going full root crazy!

I really wanted to keep it in the seedling chamber for another week or so to bush it up and test the chamber some more... But it's going a little bit root crazy and it should really be putting this root energy into it's final 5 gallon smart pot (Mallard brand 5gal fabric pot with handles.)

So I don't know... I didn't plan on its roots being so hyper lol. It's only a few days old! I think it may have to go into the main tent and final 5g pot tomorrow. Or I repot it into a slightly larger container and keep it in the chamber, but it would probably be better sending these roots into the final home.
