Thanks Jay No i haven't checked trichs yet, all pistils are still white, so didn't bother but is it normal for them to be white? Going to visit them today so might cut her down yeah mine flowered early too & i even struggled to spot she was canna lol think I'm gonna run DP's whole outdoor line next year, I'm so impressed with her [emoji7] i actually struggled with autos this year 2 out of 3 got mould and they were planted out 1st june! Gonna find some hardy ones for next year if mine suffered from mould down south middle of August, i really dont hold out hope for the autos now

Deffo doing ducks again and also looking at real gorilla seeds, they're not on here but look real good uk style on other forums. Auto/photo crosses that develop like photos but bloom early aug to be done mid sept. Looks killer smoke!

Don't give up hope on the autos right away mate. It can be done last year was a bit shit for me outdoors with mould & shit yields...this year I've manged 35oz from 12 plants. :smoking: Maybe plant out earlier so they're flowering around soltice?

Visited yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the week's progress.

Gave them all a thorough check, only one mould spot on a kush which I think was due to bird shit.

After another light frost last night (!?) weather is currently set fine for next two weeks with a couple 20c days with sun. With this outdoor game, poor weather at this point can screw up the good work beforehand.

It was pissing it down with rain, plus buds had grown so most of them were bowing under the weight and required more stringing up, here's how I found one of the Ducks:

Couldn't get a decent shot of the trichs with the rain droplets interfering, so harvested some of the chunky tops that I ddidn't want to risk any mould

I'll get some nug shots up in a bit, a lot of pistils had browned off, so its gotta be close, if not only a bit premature.

Don't give up hope on the autos right away mate. It can be done last year was a bit shit for me outdoors with mould & shit yields...this year I've manged 35oz from 12 plants. :smoking: Maybe plant out earlier so they're flowering around soltice?

I'm doing few autos next year, I'll aim for sativa types, anything indica with fat buds would be a mould fest I imagine.

Did you use a lot of seaweed extract? I hear it's a good mould preventative. Maybe lack of airflow in the gh didnt help, but clearly you got bigger buds thru its use, its tricky to get everything right mate.

One of the kushes was bending over 45 degrees, needed some propping up with garden string:

This had a small amount of mould in one of the buds on left hand side.
