New Grower It's about time..Dutch Passion and ChilLED grow light

Nice work my friend, I'm watching to see how it progresses. Definitely getting some of those root riots for next time, too.
@SPZ

They are growing again. I believe, and we know where belief can lead you. I just want to wait until we all can see it. The bad shit I did at the start has really set me back. But as I have said before when you screw up massive then the lessons you have learned are also massive. The true path is to stay on the path and be there when those lessons are presented to you. If I had just said screw 'em. And have started anew by throwing them away then I may not be where I am now. BUT you need to be in the ditch and looking for a way out. I think I have it zoned in. But being a private individual I want to really know I am ok with these three ladies before I post more pics.

Thanks to all who have stayed here for this sad example of Ladies in green turned bad. :) Friends in need are friends indeed.

I have tried many things to make 'em smile at me and when the time is right I will let you know. See you all soon.

I am so lucky to be able to see these sights SO close to my new home.

you should mate theyre awesome. i just put the seeds in and leave them on the kitchen bunker or windowsill under a pint glass. no watering and theyve worked 14/15 so far : )

The AutoPots want the roots to go to the bottom of the POT ASAP. So I will bury the seed 15mm/.5-.6 of an inch in the Root Riot. Then it will go directly into the coco with my Guinness class over it. When it pops I will wash the glass and have some Scottish ale from Oskar Blues brewery. A nice 8% beer.
:cheers:

@EvilScotsman @SPZ
I got your note in my email notification but I do not see it here in this thread. I will copy and paste.

right, gonna ask an annoying question now lol. in hydro, the idea with rr is to let the plant grow in it for a week so the tap root turns into 30 tap roots. this has zero hinderence on the size of the plant. then when it goes into transplant or dwc whatever itll have 30 roots all searching for water that'll all grow just as fast as a single tap root. these will quickly become much greater in mass than the single tap root would be at the same stage so would you not be better off leaving it in the rr for a bit first? again i know almost nothing about soil growing so i dont know if the same principles apply ? i do get that its a bottom feed system etc but so technically is dwc. you get me? just off night shoft so not sure if i get myself lol

I agree with all you have said and it makes sense. A large number of taps would be good. I have already planted the Root Riot in the coco. Next time I will try it both ways :thanks:.
You will need to try harder to annoy me :pighug:

I sub up for this grow. I dont have so much experiense with coco but so far im happy with my results.
Do you water your girls every day?
Im doing autopots with coco right now. My second attempt ever did wounderful and the girls ive got going now is going great. Ive got a good feeling about coco.
If you have any questions just ask. Mañ'O'Green and EvilScotsman is good guys, they know their thing.

thanks for watching. As you have read I screwed up on day -10 HAHA. I had everything material wise I needed. I just lack experience and know what is the right thing to do. Heck we all have to learn, I usually learn the hard way.
I do not water them everyday, when I was hand feeding, only every 3 or 5 depended on the size pot.

I too am in Autopots and coco. Still feeling my way on this grow. thanks for the help. I am surrounded by good people.

I think you will get too much stretch on your seedlings at that height - just sayin'
guys, i very rarely get time to read a full journal on here but im not leaving till its done. och a love readin grows from the start. ive only caught the first and last few pages.....
. :slap: says it stretches and falls over lol

I give water to my girls every day from day 5. It can, or it sure depends and what kind of coco you have but the brand i have is perfect, you really need to try hard to overwater it. I dont say your your coco can handle it, but if watering every 3 to 5 day, how about trying to give little water every day?
Did you presoak your coco before adding the girl? I do, so i dont have to water the first 3-4 days as the seedlinga are so small. I just have 1 successful grow with coco so dont take my advices to 100% correct.

It is so beautiful where you live, I love it... bagpipes in a mountain setting, what could be better! :headbang:

Don't stress about your girls, Nosias, they will do what they can when they are ready, all you can do is your best! I know you are learning lots because I am going through the same journey and I too am learning more than I imagined I would! I thought I was home free with four big strong girls, but I still had problems and I am now down to just three in the tent! I hope they can hold on for just a few more weeks but, but I know I will learn lots for my next grow no matter what happens. I figure it will take a year or so to really dial it in to where I have any confidence, lol.

So here is some rep for you, for all you have shared already!
