Nope , it was at a time when it was in the news all these white vans going accross channel etc etc ,,
He thought it was just the last run he was getting done for and they piled on all this evidence etc ,, basically they just made an example of him he did about 13 months and rest tagged

Oof! Ours was tiny tho.once upon a time , a long time ago, there was this hairy person who used to do booze runs to France and had two rental vans full of booze confiscated in the space of a week [emoji3] and then was hit with a huge fine for carrying too much weight and another van confiscatedat this point he realised the time had come to stop this nice little earner as the hmrc said you getting arrested next time
and got shown every single journey he had made with photographs from the channel tunnel train going back months and months and his pleas that they were for his own use and yes two pallets of Stella a trip was hard to claim personal consumption even though he said he had a drink problem and smoked a lot , so he stopped ,whilst his pal carried on and ended up spending a few years in jail for his troubles, he would have got less time for running over someone drunk.
