There's a link further up that explains it all. But basically, you register your grow, pay a fee and get a notice to display stating that it's a personal /medical grow. You get registered tags for the plants. If you get raided by the police you can demonstrate its not a commercial grow. The money that they collect from the registration goes towards defence costs.
It's the way things were in Spain before they relaxed the laws.
The clubs are becoming more and more tolerated by the police.

Drones with heat sensitive cameras are more of an issue. Heard a few stories about them being used.

Would there be a problem with an afn ukcsc being formed? So uk growers can use their model for registering and tagging plants, in case the door comes in.

I would need a lot of them tags ,,, I potentially could be fcked with the number of plants I have , I just hope they would see sence and realise they could take 70% of them away in a carrier bag ,,
