Well don't blow yerself up! Don't do what I did either. After I blasted, I left the tube out on the porch with the valves closed. A few hours later, I brought the tube inside to empty it. I didn't realize how much pressure had built up inside the tube as it warmed. As soon as the clamp released, I was hit in the chest with the end piece and valve along with a shotgun blast of blasted weed. Note to self - never release the clamp without at least one of the valves open! In hindsight - feckin hilarious - weed went everywhere. But I'd rather not do that again

Jesus! The expansion rate of lpg is over 250 times! That would of been well over 100 bar pressure if the tube was full.

Naw that would have fecken killed me. I left the bottom valve open for a few minutes after there were no more drips. Then i closed the valve and let the tube sit on the porch while the butane finished boiling off and I got everything in the vacuum camber. So whatever dregs that were left in the tube expanded but couldn't been more than 2-3 bar.

I've got butane and DME to try.

Order a vac pump and chamber. So I'll try the dme first go, has a lower boiling point so should be easier to purge without the vac.

Are there any other advantages of using DME over butane? I have only used butane as it seemed to have the easiest access for me.

Good info - the only sources for DME that I have found for cans like they show in the video are on your side of the pond.
