So, you’re talking LST? I topped it and LST’d and you can’t see it it’s shaped just like yours inside that giant canopy. I bent all the main branches over so far the the 2nd from the top almost peeled off back after I did it. I’ll try to defoliate a BUNCH to let you see more, when I have a chance. But inside it looks like this one:

So, you’re talking LST? I topped it and LST’d and you can’t see it it’s shaped just like yours inside that giant canopy. I bent all the main branches over so far the the 2nd from the top almost peeled off back after I did it. I’ll try to defoliate a BUNCH to let you see more, when I have a chance. Don't defoil to much man. Those leaves u taking off turn in more branches. Let it grow awhile. U will be amazed at how many main branches u will create. U know when u reveg u need extra time . the one i screen on the other pics with the one leaf construction on every node needs to turn to 5 or seven per leaf before u start flip. See the leaf collects the light and with that one leaf construction u won't get fat ass buds at all. Trust me keep vegging the ones that u reflipping. They will get huge way bigger than the small plant u just showed.

Well, I did it before I saw your post. Actually, once I defoliated a lot, I don’t think my plants training looks all that different.

Here’s a couple shots of the main branching. I have a total of 15 major branches - nearly or wider than a sharpie:

Here’s a side shot:

And here’s from overhead:

Here’s what I removed in a 16” saucer:

And here’s a view of one of the main side branch tops that I thinned slightly and super cropped some of the lateral side shoots. This is like a 8”-10” section of branch. The leaves from one would shade another and so on and so on andit wa just a tangled mess of leaves that I’m surprised didn’t get mold or something. It must have created its own microclimate in there.

That's what u needed to do. Spread them all out. And your main vines are bout as big but like u said they grew to close together. So u have a bunch of small vines that should have been bigger that never tur,ed into colas. Reveg is an art my brother. And I seriously mean that. U keep vegging her and will be huge , u are doing fine . and here's a hint. If u take clones in the first week after flowering starts the plants are easier to manage .

Well, that’s a relief! For once I did something right. Lol! If there are just too many smal branches when I DO need to flip, should I just thin out some of the branches that I do have to prevent too much crowding during flower? I’m not really looking for baby arm colas but more for lots of decent sized denser buds.

After this, I think I’m going to stick with Fem seeds instead of regulars so I don’t have to re-veg. With the advent of feminized seeds during my hiatus from growing, I don’t see much reason for regular seeds unless I’m wanting to breed.

Can you go into more detail on how the clones are easier to deal with? Are you saying that it’s easier if I use regular seeds and once I put them on 12/12 to sex them, then take clones from the females right after they show sex and grow THOSE clones; rather than reveging the original plant? Or do you mean something else. I’m a little confused. Sorry.

Now, if I can just figure out the deficiency on my other photo! Lol!

After u change to 12 12 and u get some signs of flower starting take some clones. Usually takes 7 to ten days to start the change. The later u take them the harder to reveg and root sometimes but still possible I've done it. Its just a lot easier because they only take a couple weeks to reveg and resume growth. The later u take clones during flower the longer it takes to reveg back ,and the clusters of those lil vines everywhere won't be as prominate.

Try to use clones without being hardened. The stalk u will have after cutting is easier to clone without being brownish. But after u get the hang of cloning the bigger stalks do produce quicker bigger plants as well as buds
