I've been trying to grow for the past 2 years and every one has been a failure because I grow them in 3 gallon containers and at week 6 they get do tall they hit the lights. I found this picture from a friend on discord and I had no idea you can grow small plants from solo cups or food containers.

Is it possible that as an alternative to low stress training and keeping a short height while may getting less yield, can you grow auroflowers in a solo cup for its entire growth till harvest?

You can absolutely grow autos in a solo cup. Stunting is common though. Have fun!

Im growing in fox farm ocean forest soil, if I was growing an auto in that soil in a solo cup would I still have to add nutrients to the soil or would the soil itself support the entire grow?

Did you have to feed it nutrients to keep the soil alive or was the soil in it sufficient for the entire grow?
The medium in my cup is Canna Coco.
It's been fed Mega Crop and Sweet Candy from its 2nd week until today.
The plant is 7 weeks old, and will be chopped in the next 3 weeks for trial.:baked:

My experience is that FF OF will support the grow around 4 weeks before nutes are needed. But if the plant and root system is purposely stunted in a small container, you may extend this 4 week period by a few more days or a couple of weeks.

I'd figure on adding REAL LIGHT nutes since you don't have much volume to deal with.
