Indoor Is FFOF too "hot" or what?!?!

The whole point of the party cup was to create a method of moving from small to large container without disturbing the roots at all. What you'd be doing is basically transplanting, which is OK if you are very careful. Some autos can be more sensitive to transplanting than others.
Ok, one more question lol, what if I cut the bottom off the party cup and put promix in it then put the cup in a planter with ffof all around it and put the seedling in the cup?

Keeping the seedling in a cup ensures that you can water it properly and keep the roots away from hot soil until you're sure that it's healthy and thriving. If you don't want to do that, you can always dig out a hole in your larger pot and fill that with Promix. That works for some people. I see no reason to mess with the cup at all unless you want to follow the tier method that has been successful for many people.
