Indoor In too deep.. Whatsgoodie's massive autoflower grow [JOURNAL, ROOM CONSTRUCTION -> GROW]

Hello friends,

I did what everyone recommended. I read for 4 months then I felt I knew enough - I started to order some parts and decided to read for another 8 months studying and understanding the genetics of cannabis and the way things worked and the essentials for the wonderful flowers.

I've purchased everything I need and will be constructing my grow room today as well as beginning the germination of my seeds. Any tips or hints or anything that could be given during the course of this thread will be MUCH appreciated.

First, the list of supplies;

12x Emergency Blankets (Aluminized Mylar for the walls)
1x 600W Nexgen Digital Ballast
--> 1x 600w HPS
1x 400W Digital Greenhouse Digital Ballast
--> 1x 400W HPS
--> 1x 400W MH
(2) 4x 26W CFL on clip lamps for supplemental light
1x CAN FAN 6
1x CAN 33 FILTER
1x Digital PH Tester
22x 8" 2GAL buckets with 4 holes drilled in each of them for run-off
(2) 1.5CF bags of Fox Farm Ocean Forest
1x Quart Grow Big
1x Quart Big Bloom
1x Quart Tiger Bloom
4x Miniature Air stones with pumps to "aerate" the water (I need more information on this)
2x Reflectors

The Seeds that will be planted in the first run;

2x Flower Power
4x Pakistan Ryder
3x Blue Himalaya
1x Mi5
2x Onyx
2x Flash Babylon
2x Thunder Bloody Mary
2x Ultraviolet
4x 60 Day Wonder
1x Number 1

The grow room will be setup with 12 plants on the bottom under a 600W HPS. Then a shelf will be setup with 10 plants and the 400W HPS + the 2 supplmental lamps (each consisting of 4 26W 2600 band CFLs) for an additional 208 watts.

How big of an area are you going to be using? Some of those get pretty big. Especially the Number 1

Thanks for the reply and question! I appreciate it. The Number 1 is the only Super Auto I have in my grow at the moment and is the only one I had any intention of exceeding 4 feet. I'm only planting one because it's sort of a pilot seed as we go into the summer season. I planned on keeping it indoors 60 days from seed then relocating it outside. I have enough room / hidden area on my property to put 3-4 super autos outside. They'll get sunlight from dusk until dawn because the position also gets the evening sun. I also have a pack of Annapruna's that I will be starting inside at some point and then eventually relocating outside, but I wanted to see how the Number 1 went first.

To answer your question about the grow room, it's a closet that's 3.5ft deep, 4.5ft wide and 9.5ft tall. I put a shelf in the middle (54") to give me two growing areas. So this gives me about 4ft of grow room (taking out the area to keep the lights above the plant) per shelf. Do any of these grow more than 4ft besides Number1? (I'm under the impression #1 can reach up to 7 feet )

As of now, I've hit a hitch. I've begun germination tonight on the seeds but I can't complete the room until HTGSupply sends me my damn CAN flange. I ordered it but they forgot it! I have the two intakes cut out and the exhaust cut out and the room completely mylar covered. One intake is 3" and will be running the ballast cords and other power cords through them. The ballasts will be kept out of the room to reduce heat.

As well with the flange I have some FoxFarm Lightwarrior coming to make a 50/50 mix of LW & OF. I also ordered the FoxFarm Kangaroots and Microbe Brew as all the reading I've been doing says root growth and room is even more essential with the AF breeds.
