Indoor In the Rasters of My 4 by 4

I live in the woods and feel like inoculating with what's out there in nature should give me more microbial/fungal diversity than buying stuff in a bag. So I got some topsoil from under a tree and put a few teaspoons under the mulch on all my ladies.

This Whamband (Hazeman White Aloha x Headband/Mikado) x Purple Canyon was put in here at half the height her mother was at flip and she's already taller!

I like the way she stretches - it fits really nice with my impatient personality. Internodal space is long like her mother, but hopefully she's going to fill in more.

Here she is in front of her mother, who's about 3 weeks from harvest I think.

Of the six Bahia I have outside, I brought the two largest in to flip. It's too cold at night for them so they've been growing slowly the last six weeks.

I took two cuttings of each, in case one of them is THE ONE.

I'm running some Namkading landrace plants for a seed repro and took a bunch of clones. I planted two copies of specimen NK-6 in this living soil 7 gallon. I had filled it with Buildasoil, and inoculated it with forest topsoil from under a tree, about a week ago. So the soil should be fully active. It's in my flowering tent but I'll be pulling it out every night before lights out for a week or two to extend its day length until it's ready to flip.

This is a really willowy, branchy stretcher, so I'm doing a Mini-SCROG sort of, to get enough colas to make it worth my while.

It doesn't look like much now, but just wait a week or so and it'll look like this:

Oh yeah, and now the tent is full -

I was looking at this unintended consequence of a hermatic union (see what I did there?) between an Afgaan 90 x Kumaoni and my favorite Purple Canyon, and recognize Kumaoni leaves. I can't wait to see how it comes out.

I inadvertently let the tent get to 93% humidity last night. That's what happens when the fan is activated by temperature and there's no integrated humidity sensor. One of the buds on my Purple Canyon had mold (first time ever!). So I had to toss that bud, luckily it was only a few grams. It's only on day 54 and is getting really close to the harvest window, but I couldn't bring myself to chop it yet. I'll keep a really close eye on it and keep the humidity low for a few days.

I already feel like Purple Canyon is better when harvested a little early, because the sister was better when I smoked a test bud at around day 65 than after harvest at day 72, but that could be a tolerance thing and I'm not sure. Who really knows? I mean really -- which of you growers know? Inquiring minds and all that.
