Indoor In the Rasters of My 4 by 4

That stinks with the humidity issue. As far as harvest timing, it's certainly personal preference isn't it? If you like it right at 65, cut it then.
I would, but it's a different pheno than the other and I'm on a break right now so I can't test it. Completely agree though!

The Purple Canyon Detroit pheno is in the harvest window and looks close to where I initially tested her sister. Mostly cloudy, a few scattered clears and a few ambers. I'm planning to harvest her this weekend, and put her to finish outside because I need the space and she needs the stress.

I have two clones so I can run her again in a few months. One branch is pollinated, so part of her will stay outside for another month.

I brought some aphids into the tent from outside. I don't mind the aphids outside. They're not a problem, don't eat much and I've heard the stress causes higher cannabinoid levels. So I'm just leaving them be.

However, inside the tent is a different issue. At least now I know how to spot them by looking at the top of the leaves:

... and they're easy to find when I look underneath:

(The circled area isn't the only place on this leaf.)

What bothers me was seeing an adult when I was inspecting plants in the tent and removing infected leaves. It's my understanding that aphids don't need a man except during certain parts of the life cycle. So an infestation is possible.

I'm going to stock up on natural predators, just to be safe. I'm not terribly worried but I also don't want to deal with spraying, though I do have some pesticide-free stuff to use if I have to.

... then like a dumbass I killed this guy before looking it up with Lens. Hopefully there are a couple others in there or maybe I can find more outside.

According to Lens, it's a soldier beetle - eater of nectar, pollen, and small bugs.

I only see aphids on one plant in the tent, this one:

My 41 Bucks. It's got about a month to go. I removed all the affected leaves and decided to let it finish outside where predators will keep things under control and I don't have to worry about it.

Day length is shortening, so we'll see if it tries to reveg. I tried revegging the Purple Canyon and two Sinais earlier this summer and was unsuccessful. So I think she's going to be fine. And I'll learn something, this being my first summer growing photos outside.

I have a seed project going on outside that involves a Mango Smile "dad," a 50 Shades of Grape and a Super Orange Haze. I started spraying with STS late and was worried it wasn't going to reverse so I injected some STS into the trunk and that reversed the whole plant. Really quickly ! 🌼🌼🌼 The next time I reverse a female I'll start with an injection.

So I'll have fewer Mango Smile S1s but more seeds on the other two ladies.

I have three photos outside about 100’ away and the prevailing wind blows that direction so I think they'll be lightly seeded. Hopefully only lightly... But I'll report on that at harvest.

Since I'm doing this, here's my hypothesis, aided by wishful thinking and a dash of faith: Most of the pollen will travel for miles and I'll see two or three seeds per bud in my photos. Because of when I harvest, they'll be small, white, and hollow and won't pose much of a problem.

I'd be very interested to see what pheno comes through with the 50 Shade's of Grape I don't remember who but I picked up a pack and sent it to a REALLY good guy I'm drawing blanks trying to remember his name though....🤔Hmmm LoL. I'm also just finishing up trimming about ⅔rds of my Mango Smile x Grape Crinkleberry and it's SO F'ING DANK!!!:yay:

Hey have you ever tried using neem oil because I've seen it used a couple times in the past by my Uncle I've used it for the garden especially the tomatoes. It's perfectly safe to use but I'm not 💯% sure when it comes to Mary Jane!?

This 50 Shades of Grape is grapey, but not addictive bubble gum grape like the first one I grew. But it's outside in the hot dry, so I wouldn't expect too much in the terpene department anyway. And oh yeah, I'm reasonably ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN this guy called @Arkvader13 gifted me the seeds! :thanks:🙏

Those buds look top shelf :weed: awesome! I don't think I've ever grown anything as crystal-encrusted.
