Russian Rocket Fuel grow report/late journal

I have previously posted a couple of grow journals covering a small compact system designed for high yielding in a discreet steel office archive locker.
I've kept going on my next grow but haven't had time to be too much online, building a houseboat and moving about, so I am already in to week eight, roughly ten days from harvest. I am not going to repeat all details since they've been covered before. I'll log in on my computer soon to post some links to my previous posts and pictures of my current run taken today,

I made two major changes from my last setup. I always figured my two gallon smartpots were slightly on the small side for its given volume. Coming from a "metric background" I assumed (and I still assume) these should equal about 8 litres of substrate in each container, which was my plan for this project from the beginning. Turns out my 2gal pots were no more than 4 litres each. What's up with that?
Well no problems. I went and bought landscaping felt material and stitched up custom sized pots snugly fitting inside each of my cages. For anyone who hasn't read my previous posts about cages of green, check my links in next post.
This time I measured about 10 litres of substrate (I use coco/rice husks 75:25) for each of my plants. It shows. The added height from my pots paired with a much larger root mass has made each of my four plants make full potential of my mesh cage construction. See pictures in next post,

The other major change was the addition of two fans on each side of the canopy to circulate the (already moderately) hot air produced by my LED fixture. Each cage already has two fans each mounted in opposite directions at the bottom of my plants, to keep moist and possible mould at bay. They were added for my last growsession. Tomorrow I'm moving my cab and setting this grow up in a new location; I'll take som pictures from its inside then.
I'm looking forward to harvest and Bonsai-treat these ladies next weekend. Photos in a few minutes,
Peace!

Looking good man! Do those fans cause you any trouble that close to the foliage?

Thanks Jackmc. Nah, not really. I tried mesh to cover the fans with some mesh, but that made them sing a high pitch noise so I left them bare naked. The small ones eats away on the odd leaf, but they are really far down the plant, so that do not affect them whatsoever. The larger fans on each inner side of the cab are positioned where they cant really hurt the plants, and if the flowers would somehow start growing/stretching towards the fans i´ll just train them with some wire. The fans are mainly there to circulate the air properly inside; to keep mould and fungus away. The plants grow strong and since i weave them in the mesh of the cages kind of like vines, I dont need provoking wind to train stems/branchs to grow think. And the grow thick anyway : )
