Well, I've actually been a member here since the birth of AFN I was maybe one of the first 10 members. Though I've been away from growing for 4+ years and I wish I had the AF Sativa dominant Haze strains that I developed and tested on here with AFN members being the test growers also they actually had the right to be called Haze unlike some Mainstream Banks have marketed as such when they cashed in on the AF craze and stole or mislabeled others work when first realizing we aren't smoking and growing Lowryder anymore. I hope Mossy aka Purple Wizard but probably had a different user Nina by now. Lil
I want to eventually meet all of you because your my family whether you know it yet it not!!! Please say hello and lets grow some AFing herb cause AFN has been the reason autos are such fine genetic wonders once ppl like us got into the mix...

@NC420_KY I cannot welcome you back because I was not here then but I can certainly welcome you to the now. I will forget a lot of stuff as well for the same reason; sometimes I over medicate .

I grew my first "bag weed" back in the mid 70's in a hydroponic flood and drain using water bed liners, frames and pea gravel. Nutrients were Miracle Grow and some stuff I got from a hydroponic tomato farmer. I used Metal halide lamps and my Co2 system consisted of two 50" cylinders. I would hold my breath and go in the room crank them open count to 30 close them and leave the room :haha:. I had no odor control and my roommate made me pull the plants when he could smell me venting the room at night in the bar at the end of the block. I had a few gorilla grows over the years but really got serious about 5 years ago to alleviate chronic back pain. I started using organic living soil from my 20 year old vegetable garden but moving a heavy pot of soil was nearly impossible with my back. I moved into DWC where the water could be moved by pump then on to precision drip in Rock Wool Cubes. That is how I grow now. I would love to hear your stories from the past.

Here is a picture of my grow space as it is now:
