Lighting Ideal grow room temps for cobs

I feed 2 mills a liter from the first feed on of procal 2.0.0 it is green planets cal mag but you are spot on with running extra cal mag from the start. When I got my Tasty COB I had Cal mag issues first time out. I have not had any since.

This because plants have a micro-climate on the surface of their leaves or something and under new led technology the micro-climate has a lower temperature or some shit i heard lol :pass:
This came with my spectrum king 100w closet case for what its worth.

I have read that plants under white light cobs/quantum boards enjoy higher temps and also use more cal/mag. I am planning to run my grow hotter than usual with extra cal/mag from the start.

Be careful of that mate, don't just add loads of calmag because you heard other people do. It's a lot to do with your water source and your nutes, I have hard water and use biotabs, and have no need for any calmag supplements at all. In the past I have used too much and caused all sorts of issues.

Yep, COBs don't have (that much) IR heating like HPS does.

Don't understand this leaves are still drooping at around same time every day a few hours before they have the dark period of 4 hrs then when lights go back on there fine can these cobs be to intense and need to go 18/6? Also posted this in the sick plant area but there nice and healthy otherwise nice and dark green can't see any bug damage etc lights are at the right height.Any help with this please?

80 to 85 seems ideal for cobs, dont let temps drop below 75 ever but people are having good results maintaining 80+ through entire grow. Cobs dont produce IR which warms leaf surface and increases metabolism like HPS does so you need a slightly warmer environment for max growth. Plants will grow in lower temps, just not as fast...

HPS has a lot of IR in it therefore you need lower room Temps to keep the plants cool underneath. Hold your hand 1 ft from each, the hps feels warm, led, nothing. Led needs you to run the room a little warmer as there's almost no IR. hps 70-78, led 75-82.

I will run a 2x4x6 tent with two 5 Gals & two-3500K AutoCobs-Any ideas on best temps for my AF soil grow situation? 6"Inline Carbon Filter installed. All info is greatly appreciated

blackdogleds website has a good article about this-basically the extra wavelengths in natural light heat the leaf surface so they are warmer compared to leds, warmer leaf means more open stomata and with good humidity means a faster metabolism....and vice versa hth
