Idea: Application for Testing Seeds

Not just because I'm new but I like the idea of anyone doing testing. You get to see how they do under different lights, pot sizes, nutes and lighting schedules. This gives the breeder duration of grows, germ rates, size, yields, durability (what I look for [emoji16]) colours, smoke, flavour, smell etc etc.

The Thing is, you and a breeder would like to know these things, the breeder don't want anyone else to know, if we are talking an unreleased strain being tested. The idea that a breeder will welcome a public database with their test strains is incredible , I think a high flying stoner came up with that idea haha
Don't forget breeding is business, bills and guys need to be paid.
Promotional grows of already released strain is another story, that is not test growing but marketing.

Hey everyone we're actually brainstorming the idea of opening up our seed testing to the entire community by implementing an application system for testing (so there would be some criteria and required information filled out,) to which then we'd relay back to the appropriate vendors that are offering seeds for test purposes.

We want to encourage more autoflower growers to try out a variety of strains and are actively working on a revamp of our review system to make the information easier to input, more relevant, and ultimately worth your time to read!

We can't promise or guarantee any spots for testing, but it's a step in the right direction if you're interested in possibly testing out seeds for the breeders on the site (and a way to possibly progress forward into better testing gear with the CannaZone test team!)

Appreciate any feedback on this! This is not the official application thread, just looking for ideas!

If there is anything you would like to see on the application, as potential new testers or existing testers, please let me know!
Nice!

I know I for one love the idea of everyone from beginning to grandmaster trying, it will broadening the info on strains for skills needed for the strains, plus knowing what technics will produce the maximum grow no matter your level, along with that it brings the whole amazing community together for a project that I believe will help retrieve the ultimate testing info over the greatest broad spectrum of amazing growers. But that's me.

Definitely down to grow whatever..
Flowers bushes veggies and good ol pot
Obviously I'm new here... I've done photo and about to grow my first autos
Love the vibe here and plan to learn much
Stay lifted

As a new person to this site I see many points from everyone in this topic. But breeder's can't continue to relay on the same top growers buying their seeds all the time point is there are so many new growers these days to to laws changing that the only way the can grab all those thousandsof new customers is by novice growers telling thier friends how easy a strain was to grow and get them to buy everything and do it.sorry but people will not buy their seeds when there's a complex of only master experience growers can grow something. They will skip right over that breeder's products. Probably hints why more breeder's and sites are labeling skill levels next to strains. I personally don't look at level when I order why because anyone can grow anything if they try. I've seen people pop a seed and bam it be too notch , along with I've seen my local guy of 40yrs breeding pop his years crop and turn total flop. All the other products in this world are not tested by only most experience if it was it wouldn't sale. My two cents.
