Extraction Ice Water Extraction Thread

I did my first ice water extraction last night and noticed there wasn't a thread dedicated to it so figured I'd start one. Here's some pics of mine
Made from mixed trim using 1 gallon virtual sun hydroponics 8 bag set and r/o water. any one have any tips, pictures, or anything feel free to join in

How much material did you use? What was your return? And..... How is it? Always wanted to do some bubble hash

i didnt weigh the material i used, but im guessing aroung 20 grams of trim, ended up with a little over a gram but i only did a 5 min stir, was trying to keep it pretty pure so i could dab it It's still drying, but i've dabbed both kinds in the top pic and they tasted really good! alot like bud.

ill be making another batch tonight, ill weigh the trim before this time:thumbs:

Lol I just made a batch this morning for thanksgiving. Thinking about making desert. I have 8 bag set too but I can't tell difference between the product of the larger screens so I just use 5 and found I like it a lot more. Do u press it also?

i barely press and dry for the first night then break it up in really small pieces to dry the rest of the way. this was only my first try

I used 20 grams of trim and got back a gram of hash, but you can run the trim twice or use it for canna butter after first run. So looks like qwiso gives a better return but the quality of ice water extraction if done properly is better IMO. Not all the ice water hash is full melt but taste a lot more like the bud it cam from IMO

yeah... dont throw out your trim... lots of things to do with it... I like coco-oil myself... edibles..
